Voglia Di Pizza — Restaurant in Palermo

POSITIVE: Food: 5/5: Good and large pizzas and they didn't skimp with the toppings, neither with the spices Prices: 5/5, really good value for money Vibe: 4/5. We sat outside. Rather touristy than authentic. NEGATIVE: The service:After we finished our meal we sat there and we're drinking our beer. Suddenly a waiter came up and gave us the bill without we asked for it. And in face of that our glasses were 1/4 part full. The message was like "Buddy, you spent enough time here, now got to the f..."We were sitting there for no more than 10 minutes !!  Around us everybody did the same. However, there were people who consumed much less than we (one glass of wine for example) while we spent a dinner here. So we found this extremely impolite. Original review 2023: Very good no frills pizza, had a take out but sit in is also possible. 2024 update: Having now stayed in Palermo for a while I'm I can definitely say it's the best value pizza in town centre. The quality of ingredients is good and There are others that might have better quality ingredients but you'll paying double what you pay here. Other places, you pay similar prices but the quality is terrible. The place is busy so for takeaway there is a very long wait 😕 they tell you it's going to be 20 min, you comeback after 25 and they only start making the pizza when they see you 😕 and never been able to get a home delivery or their square pizza despite those being continuously advertised on newly printed...

Really great and tasty pizza for a fantastic price, much lower than in the surrounding restaurants.

Large selection, very low prices - whole pizzas for 3-6 euros, large Moretti beer for 2 euros. In the evenings, the waiting time for an order is about half an hour. Depending on the traffic, you don't have to wait or wait for a table, but it is quite short.

Nice service and nice owners as well as a very friendly attitude to tourists - which is not so obvious in restaurants in Italy. Payment is possible by card or cash.
