Very elegant drawer . Unfortunately no free choice of table. The fact that you have to order via a technical device (tablet) takes some getting used to. The young waitress spoke almost no English and so there were some misunderstandings at first.

I found the quality of the food to be very good (all you can eat - lunchtime).

However, some portions in the first category were far too large. Tapas sizes would be more pleasant here.

As I was told "you have to order 5 things from category 1", I did - although I wasn't really interested in any of it.

...then huge portions arrived and I was told: "You have to finish them, otherwise you'll have to pay extra. Those are the rules here."

I didn't know this rule on my first visit, and nobody had pointed it out to me.

So it was a bit odd and strange.

The service is nowhere near as elegant and stylish as the decor.

My table was a little uncomfortable because it was in an unfavourable position. Although it was empty that day, I was seated apart. Why?

I would come back for the food. From category 2 onwards, the food became more interesting for me. Not so much for...

Dishonest management. We were a party of four (only3 were hungry, the fourth person only purchased a drink and was charged for the full meal) and asked if this was a La carte, the service personnel, whom are basically bus personnel, said yes. When I asked the manager at the cash register he did not speak any English, shame on me for my expectations. He called another server who spoke English and was very kind. He explained that they charge for each person regardless of if they eat. They need to post this detail at the entry. We were told it was “ all you can Eat” At lunch time and that dinner was a La carte. The service was fast and the quality of the food very good. In fact, relative to the experience, the meal was THE most overrated and expensive dinner in all of our Sicilian experiences. All ruined by a rude manager/ cashier. Sono celiaco e ho informato lo staff del ristorante della mia intolleranza al glutine. Mi è stato assicurato che potevo ordinare piatti senza glutine tramite la loro app, che include anche informazioni sugli allergeni. Tuttavia, i piatti che mi sono stati serviti contenevano glutine. Nonostante abbia segnalato l'errore, la situazione non è stata risolta in modo soddisfacente. Alla fine, mi sono sentito male e ho dovuto chiamare un'ambulanza, passando la notte in ospedale. Scrivo questa recensione per avvertire chiunque abbia problemi di allergie: questo ristorante non è affidabile nella gestione degli allergeni e non lo consiglio.

Edit: apprezzo che non volete alimentare "la polemica" se così definite un intossicazione da glutine, avete chiamato i carabinieri perché non volevo pagare dopo esser stato avvelenato e portato via in ambulanza, ma ora leggendo anche le altre recensioni di persone che si sono sentite male senza però avere le mie restrizioni alimentari tutto si spiega, come ha detto un'altro ragazzo in un'altra recensione, speriamo in una nuova chiusura, cari miei, il locale bello non serve a nulla se si lavora con piedi, senza cognizione di causa ma soprattutto senza preparazione, come peraltro prevista dalla legge, non capisco come faccia il vostro personale ad avere un attestato HACCP senza sapere neanche parlare l'italiano infatti in questo locale o non parlano italiano o chi parla italiano ti dice non lo so, non saprei, oppure ti dice di sì ma in realtà è un no.

Aggiungo peraltro, che è meglio che non accogliete proprio nessuna persona con delle intolleranze in quanto non sapete neanche le basi sugli allergeni, ho ordinato 6 prodotti inserendo la dicitura "no glutine" come dettatomi da 2 camerieri e mi hanno portato 4 di quei prodotti con il glutine e alla fine della cena il proprietario mi ha detto che dalla cucina non dovevo ordinare nulla, quando prima mi disse va bene e mi aveva dato delle informazioni sulla salsa agrodolce che contenesse glutine quindi, ergo, dal primo al ultimo là dentro erano informati della mia intolleranza e nessuno ha avuto buon senso di avvisarmi prima, che non potessi ordinare niente dalla cucina, solo a fine pasto, allucinante.

Per dovere di cronaca, se avete un intorrelenza o un allergia, a fine pasto, avrete in omaggio, come me la foto allegata.

PS: il silenzio a volte è meglio di mille...
