My fiance and I had dinner here and it was a pleasant experience, the place is cute and well decorated, the staff were pleasant and we were served quickly. The prices were fair and there is a massive selection of wines. We had the focaccia and cheese to start and this was very good, the bread had a proper mix of salt and oil and the local cheese complimented it well. I went with the ragu al cinghale while my fiance opted for the linguine al scoglio. The reason I can't give them the full 5 stars here is our pastas had a few minor issues. For my fiances dish it was overloaded with large chunks of garlic that overpowered the delicate seafood a bit but otherwise was tasty, the seafood was fresh and cleaned well. While for my dish the ragu consisted of very little cinghale and the mirepoix was what I would consider an overly large dice. It also needed to simmer for another hour or so as the carrot and celery were still crunchy, I would attribute this to the overly large dice of the veggies and perhaps they had to make more on the fly the same day. Outside of the unbalanced portion of mirepoix to cinghale and the undercooked ragu the taste was good and the pasta itself was good quality. We then went with the setteveli al ciccolato for dessert and while this was solid overall the bottom layer was no longer crunchy but had degraded to a chewy mess. This could be that the dessert was potentially frozen at one point or maybe had been made a few days ago. Overall we were satisfied with the meal and visit but can't give out the full 5 stars given the issues we found, we would likely give them another chance as our issues are easy to fix and may just be a reflection of a busy summer day.

Our B&B recommended this place for us to have dinner. We liked it so much. We ate there twice when you first walk up to a you wonder what is gonna be there and then you find this lovely little restaurant with family owned and everybody food was delicious. I had this swordfish one night and I had the fish of the day the other night we had the pesto pasta. We had the pasta with sardines. We’ve had the tomatoes with our B&B recommended this place for us to have dinner. We liked it so much. Bottle of wine it was fairly priced indoor outdoor seating.

We were a bit early, but the kind owner let us in anyway. Roaming the streets of Palermo does make one's stomach yearn for delights. We'd passed La Galleria the evening before, stumbled upon the lovely picturesque terrace outside. So when we found ourselves in the area the next day, looking for shelter from the rain, it was a no brainer. Safe to say, good choice. Credits to the fabulous lady that works there, she gave me a glass of wine I'll not soon forget. Really, these people know their trade. There are so many wines there, I wasn't even going to try to dive into the list and I was beyond happy I didn't. (Fan of a smooth but caracteristic, full bodied yet fruity red wine? Give the Brugnano HER - perricone a try!). We opted for the 2 tempura dishes, vegetable & seafood, positively delicious! Very much a place we'd return to in a heartbeat.

If you want to enjoy quiet, calm and delicious cuisine, then I recommend you to try this excellent restaurant. Fantastic atmosphere. Beautifully presented food on Sicilian-style plates that add extra charm. The choice was in favor of stuffed chicken and pork. The chicken was cooked very well - not dry and the filling inside was a very good choice. The pork was also juicy, not too fatty and cooked to perfection. Roasted potatoes with rosemary just what was needed. The service staff were kind and nice. The food was also served rather quickly, despite the large number of clients. We didn't make a reservation in advance, but I definitely recommend it. Because the restaurant is located in the old town and the tables were all full at 23:00. My recommendation!

Our very first Sicilian meal was here, and my experience and memory are fond. In fact we went to so many more places after our first night here and I found myself comparing them to this seemingly high standard. So my first thought is this place is unique and warm, a good atmosphere to be sure. The food is very good, the wine great. Not a complaint to speak of other than it was very busy and I felt the stress from staff didn’t translate well; I wondered if they were fond of tourists. We were polite and as helpful as we could be. I tried to come back twice but they were full! Maybe call ahead for reservations… Great spot and you won’t be disappointed!!!

Ristorante La Galleria is a tranquil escape from Palermo’s chaotic streets, offering the perfect spot to relax. The food is amazing, with authentic Sicilian dishes full of flavor, and the wine selection is exceptional. Despite being busy, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring a pleasant experience. Whether you’re dining in or just enjoying a glass of wine, the atmosphere is calm and inviting, with both indoor and outdoor seating available. It's a popular spot, so arriving early or making a reservation is recommended. A must-visit for a serene and satisfying dining experience in Palermo.
