Sartoria Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in Palermo

Nice place with excellent cocktails, which COULD be one of the best in Palermo...

However, the service is not the best. We ordered drinks and food, and we could hear the bell ringing for our food, but the waitress was too busy talking in her phone to collect it. I don't care if the food takes a little longer, and I understand people have the right to speak on their phone while working for several reasons, but it was so much time that even the chef had to ring the bell aggressively several times so the waitress stop ignoring it and finally go for our food (which we received long after we finished our drinks). We were planning on getting more than one drink, but after that, we preferred to go somewhere else.

(Ps: I wrote the previous before reading other reviews...now that I read the low rank reviews below, I understand it is probably a bit of xenophobia since none of us is from Western Europe, though my partner speaks very good Italian, but the woman kept switching to English. This was the only place in Palermo where they did this...all the rest we spoke in Italian with an accent with no issue)

Pd2: after reading their answer to my review where they stated that "speaking about xenophobia is incitement to hate" I can understand they understand nothing about what xenophobia is and how unpleasant and dangerous it...

I had one night to stay in Palermo and a couple of hours to kill until the restaurant I was planning to have dinner opened. I wandered around the streets and found this amazing place. Cocktails were some of the best I've ever had. The cotone with mezcal was unbelievable. That said, don't bother ordering food here. The degustazione board was nice enough, but took ages and wasn't much food. But, the cocktails alone are worth the visit.
