We stayed in one of the new suites, it was spacious and clean. I understand this is a budget hotel; however, for the money we paid 185 Euros per night it was way overpriced. The kitchen in the room was very basic with only two pans and a frying pan, which was fine; however, when it came to washing up there was no plug in the sink, no washing up liquid, no cloth to wash up or wipe down with and no towel to dry the dishes, we had to use the soap from the bathroom to wash the dishes. The hotel has notices in the room about saving water and turning off the shower and taps but then doesn't provide a plug for the kitchen sink which would save water as you would be able to save water in the sink rather than have it running to wash the dishes. The hanging space was very small with only 5 hangers and no drawers or bedside tables. The Chromecast and apps on the TV didn't work for the duration of our stay. We were given 3 different stories about it being fixed, none of which turned out to be correct and on leaving we were told the whole of the hotel had been affected; however, this was not mentioned at all when we first reported it and as stated we were given 3 different stories about someone coming to fix it. The room was overlooked by the apartments next door which I accept as it is in a city centre, this wouldn't have been an issue if there had been some sort of blinds or voile, there wasn't, just a curtain which you couldn't draw back as it gave a direct view into the bedroom. As a result the room was in darkness all the time due to us being unable to draw the curtains. The shower cubicle is quite large, it is oblong; however, the positioning of the shower on the side wall rather than the end one, meant you only had the narrow part to shower in rather than the full length had the shower been placed on the end wall. I had emailed the hotel from the UK to book a table outside on the roof terrace for our first night, I received a confirmation email and also when we checked in we were advised by reception there was a booking on the roof terrace for that evening. We went up to the terrace at the time we had booked and there was no booking and therefore no table, I complained and we were then squeezed into a small table with a view of the wall!! I went downstairs to complain and the staff called up to the restaurant to find out what had happened, I never did find out; however, we were offered a table an hour later. No apology or explanation. I had stayed in one of the basic rooms previously which had been better value than the suite, I had a large wardrobe and a large bathroom with a bath and shower in the basic room. As it was a basic room I had no expectations and was pleasantly surprised which is why I booked to stay again. As it was a suite being offered my expectations were higher; however, they were not met. I will not be staying in this hotel again and I will more than likely not be using B&B Hotels again due to...

Well, I've never stayed in a 3 star hotel but we were coming on a course and recommended this place as we had transfers included to put course from this hotel. I would never of picked this usually but I just booked it without reading the reviews (wish I had). It's the worst place I've ever stayed. As much as it's location is perfect if you want to be in the hustle and bustle of everything, it is tired, dingy, smelly and basic. The down stairs reception looks reasonably nice but every time we walked in and out it smelt of sewage. We stayed on the 4th floor in room 432. It was basic. As in no kettle, no water, no shower cap or travel basics. Literally a TV, a fridge and hair and body wash provided. The main door frame to the room was hanging off. The only way to close the door was to slam it. Around the bath and sink was mouldy and gross. There was a window however it wasn't worth having. The view was awful. Just a tiny courtyard of other windows and steel frames. The air con when I turned it on dropped water droplets all over the floor and stunk of mould. The skirting boards and walls were chipped and tatty, the floor was chipped and raised in areas and only 1 pillow was provided on the bed. We unfortunately spent 4 nights here and the first night we felt really disappointed and it pit a real downer on our holiday. Thankfully we managed to see the funny side of it and joked about us always remembering how disappointing it was. We went to the breakfast for one morning and was really disappointed too. There was just watery bits of egg left and a few pieces of sausage when we were after something savoury. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else. The staff were very cheerful and...

Everything seemed typical for a budget hotel when we first arrived. However, we quickly discovered that both the sink and shower only produced scalding hot water which left our skin red and irritated. It was not only uncomfortable but also unsafe. I informed the front desk, and they assured me someone would come to fix it. They failed to mention until I called back 30 minutes later that the repair wouldn’t happen until the following day. As a result, we couldn’t shower properly after a full day of travel, and no alternative solution was offered.

A plumber did fix the issue the next day and I thought that would be the end of our troubles. Unfortunately, early Saturday morning at 8AM, we were abruptly woken by extremely loud drilling and sawing sounds coming from the room next to ours. When I called the front desk, their only response was, “Oh, they started already?” At this point, I was upset and asked for some form of compensation for the two major disruptions. Their initial offer was a free breakfast, which didn't fit our schedule and frankly wasn't appealing. Later, they offered one free night at the same hotel within the next year—which seemed pointless, as I have no intention of returning.

Had they at least warned us about the planned construction, I might have been more understanding, though still frustrated. But the lack of communication and concern for guests was disappointing and unprofessional. I even reached out to their customer service via email later and unsurpisingly, never received a response. The location is convenient, though it can be noisy at night, but that doesn't make up for how poorly the...

Our experience was bad! This was the most expensive hotel of our 2 week trip and we though we could spend a little bit more to get more confort... that was a mistake. Pros: - The breakfast was good but a little expensive ($$) and the terrace was beautiful - Great location, near restaurants and shops Cons: - Service: The staff didn't really seem to care about us - The room was very small for three people and the furniture was in the way - The bathroom was gross, the sink didn't drain the water, the shower would clog and the water would come out of the shower door and there seem to be mold at multiple locations - ** Important: THE NOISE! First, you can hear every sound happening outside de room very clearly (steps, elevator, people taking, door slaming), etc. But by far the worst thing was the live music show. During two nights, there was a live show and dancing party on the roof and the sound of the music was loud and outrageous. It started at around 22h00 and ended a little after midnight. We had to catch a train early in the morning, and it was impossible to sleep even with earplugs. We called reception and they really didn't care. Who in the hell thinks it's a good idea to give concerts late at night, in a hotel with bad insonorisation?

HOW TO TURN A HOTEL INTO A RYANAIR EXPERIENCE (WE PAID 80€ EACH FOR IT! WE GOT BED BUGS!) What is good: location. Breakfast is extra, 7.20€ 'but only for today you can have it for 5.40€!' (in a town where you can have HUMONGOUS breakfast for 3€) . People are not helpful, or generally rude or non caring, they 'cannot help' and they are 'just doing their job', they will only do and say what they are told. No REAL air conditioning but fake one that is basically a fan in a box with a dehumidifier. No remote control for it, just a wall thermostat. Bathroom had no window and no fan so shower becomes an aquarium, the bathroom ceiling had a hole in it. Noisy, loud music during the night and men at work during the day. People who work there are just the most basic kind of 'i don't know' employees. Very bad vibes from the start, really sketchy even if it looked AMAZING online, it is not. The place steals your personal info, for instance in order to use the Wi-fi you 'just need to give us name and email address'. Looks like a scam. Rooms are bad and the view is horrible. Picture from our 'premium' room, we paid 2x80€ for it:
