Voga Mondello restaurant
We started with a warm welcome by Emad, who sat us under an olive tree canopy in the breezy Atrium with a Cusumano N O 2019 vintage. He sensitively chose this perfect vino based on our red grape preferences.
To begin: homemade Semolina bread & crostini sticks served with the renowned Trapani Provence olive oil. Bravo!!! A salivary & tastebud explosion.
Then Lobster risotto followed by pork cheek carbonara & a heaping pile of fresh mussels in a tomato broth as our first courses. Each was fused with amazing flavors, herbs & savory sauces. All HOMEMADE from fresh ingredients.
Fresh Salami swordfish in lime zest, baby cilantro, dash sugar…was brought enthusiastically by owner David to enjoy.
A very rare fellowship with guests occurred as the fisherman brought in a fresh catch of Shad wrapped in a linen lined basket as he headed to the kitchen to have the chefs create a ravioli with it.
Dessert: Tiramisu ingredients -all fresh - were brought to our table on a cart & handmade at our table. Voila! oh so good!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this brand-new seafood restaurant in Mondello, and I was absolutely impressed. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a stunning interior design — a tasteful blend of natural materials, soft coastal tones, and elegant maritime touches. It’s stylish yet inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for a romantic dinner or a relaxed lunch by the sea.
As for the food — simply outstanding. The seafood is incredibly fresh, cooked to perfection, and the menu strikes a beautiful balance between Mediterranean tradition and modern flair. The service was equally impressive: warm, attentive staff who were happy to offer wine pairings and explain the dishes in detail.
In short: this place is a rising star on Mondello’s dining scene. If you love seafood and appreciate great ambiance, this is...
Read moreThe food is absolutely great. Fresh seafood, very high quality.
Let’s talk about other stuff:
The service is a bit slow.
5 people 1 starter, 4 pasta dishes and 4 main courses (we got it as a main course but 2 of them were starters), 4 desserts, 7 Aperol spritz, 2 glasses of rose wine and 5 liqueur 400 euros. The Aperol spritz costs 12 euro. I understand I asked the spritz to be made my way, but it’s still a lot. Some pasta day time has a cost, night time has a higher cost; on top of that there’s 4 euro per person for the seat (coperto).
Considering the cost, you do expect portions to be bigger (especially the pasta which was extremely small if you pay 20, 30 or 40 euro for it). Even the desserts were tiny.
If you are happy to pay a lot that’s the place for you, the quality is great but no...
