We came to this place by random, looking for a place to have lunch in Parma city center, without prior reservation. Owner was quite friendly, trying to make us feel welcomed. We order appetizer and mains. The octopus appetizer was well cooked and really delicious. Wine was also good. The main courses on the other side were ok. or below average. The fried shrimp was average. However, the pasta was bland, cold, with little seafood or sauce. The presentation of this pasta was weird, coming in sort of plastic food foil, purely for aesthetic reasons. This felt like such a waste for the environment and without looking great either. Honestly, the worst pasta I have tried in Italy, so far. Overall, not sure we would return here to eat, if ever in Parma again, and we would rather try out...

Read moreI cannot recommend FISH enough! I stayed in Parma for two nights in an Airbnb right above this restaurant. Lucky me! I had just arrived to my Airbnb from Washington , DC, jet lagged and sick, and walked in for a quick bite before bed not realizing it was about to close. Stefano kindly said he’d check with the chef and then came out saying please sit down. We chatted and I learned he had lived in NYC in the same neighborhood as me. Stefano brought me a complementary glass of wine. He’s a lovely, kind, friendly man and runs a delicious, warm, welcoming restaurant! My favorite sandwich?
