The food here is outstanding. It's so good that I went twice in the two days that i visited Parma. The lasagna is put of this world. The iberico pork pluma steak will take you past flavor town and drop you and your best taste buds in a whole new flavor country. The Parmesan vertical is a master class in Parm and probably one of the reasons you decided to come to Parma. The meat board of Parma gold is also a MUST have. The sweet potato tortelli 🔥 the pork cheeks 🔥the Parmesan FLAN????? Stupid 🔥the trio of Polentas including BLACK TRUFFLE polenta???? 🤯

Too bad the service is so hit or miss. This place rightfully gets SLAMMED and the food comes out at a leisurely pace so don't come here in a hurry. Service was ok and the servers spoke descent english. We asked for an English menu and they said they didn't have one. We later found out the did have one posted on the front of the restaurant, which maybe they didn't want to recommend so we were getting up to decide our meals but this was frustrating because we were almost guessing what dishes we wanted. You could tell the noodles were fresh and of quality but they lacked flavor. Overall, unsatisfied with both of our entrees as they lacked flavor and the service was only descent at best. This is the first time in Italy we've experienced literal bad food. Some good but some down right not edible. The pasta was ok but the main dishes was just rushed and tough. We got both the tasting menus and the sliced meat antipasto starter was hard and not good. This is Parma this should be the best! I would have given the food a more stars if it weren't so expensive. This was one of the more pricey spots. Quality should come with price! Part of the desert was also so dry you couldn't chew it. Very disappointed we chose this place on our last night in Parma.
