Magnolia Café — Restaurant in Parma

What a great discovery right around the corner from our hotel in Parma!

My wife and I and our 2 teen aged boys frequented Magnolia Café every day of our 4-night stay for some aperitivi and snacks. Every drink we sampled was delicious and a great value. One of the nights we had dinner and the lasagne was absolutely delicious. The caprese salad was also excellent, with perfectly ripe tomatoes and high quality mozzarella.

The staff is extremely friendly and multi-lingual and makes you feel like a regular from the first visit. We mentioned we are from Montréal and they were very happy to serve us in English or French.

Fantastic! Superb cafe, such a nice atmosphere and a wonderful experience. The food is delicious! Very authentic and wholesome. Great coffee, attentive but non-invasive service, and the staff are just the loveliest people you'll ever meet. It's in a prime spot right by the cathedral, handily close to the main shopping streets but still feeling tucked away. Nothing is a problem and everything is served with a smile :) They also do a great aperitivo in the evening, too, apparently! I could come back time and again if I lived here, and I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking for a wonderful cafe/bar in Parma, or just a nice place to sit and take a break in the city centre with a great view!!...

Attentive staff and well priced drinks which come with some ham, bread and chips. The ham was good, the bread was ok. They would bring more snacks when we ordered another drink. We were keen to try Violetta Parma Spritz and they had it! It was too sweet for me, but the violet taste was very pleasant.

We got there at 6.30pm to have aperitivo before going to have dinner and they were just opening. The street they're situated on was quiet, so we could enjoy the late afternoon. Great suggestion...
