I discovered this restaurant by accident. I was looking for accommodation as I extended my work trip, and upon reading reviews, I read that the residence has a restaurant beneath. After checking in, I asked if they had availability, and they did! When I entered, there were only two other diners, and I was shown to a lovely table set up for myself in the corner by Plose; I had initially gone in to try the Duck dish, but upon reading the 7-course seasonal tasting menu, I decided to try. I started with a glass of sparkling wine that was very nice for €10 a glass. There were an extra two secret courses to start. One was a Parmesan waffle. Light, fluffy and delicious. The other was an octopus gazpacho. Light, refreshing and the octopus was not chewy. All the courses were presented beautifully and described as they were placed. The star dish was the Duck! Wow! It is the most delightful duck dish I have ever tried. It had a wonderful smokiness and was perfectly tender and cooked pink. Duck is one of my favourite dishes and this was to an elevated standard. It was served with a creamy carrot purée and spinach. Chef Marco, had come out a couple of times to check on my thoughts of the dishes and seemed particularly proud of this culinary masterpiece. He said it was also his favourite. The dessert was also a show stopper. If you like some theatrics at the table I highly recommend ordering the frozen Tiramisu. The staff were welcoming and did not make me feel awkward that I was dining alone and gave me the perfect table (not in the middle of the room). I was served throughout by Plose who was friendly and ensured throughout the evening I was enjoying my meal. I’m assuming it was quiet because it was Sunday. I would now deliberately go on a Sunday. After the other two diners left it felt like they had reserved the whole restaurant for myself. I was sat by the kitchen and it was lovely to hear all the staff laughing and at one point one of the chefs was whistling gleefully. I highly recommend this restaurant. It was a truly lovely experience.

July 2022 This was my second visit to Parizzi Restaurant, and they knocked it out of the park again. Tailored appetisers prepared by the chef to compliment you meal selection. Amazing wine and friendly staff, dress code is relaxed which I prefer, just don't go in shorts and tee shirt. The irony was that we only paid 60 euros more at Parizzi than we did the previous day in Milan at the galleria near La Scala / Duomo (the meal at the gallery [Savini's] was poor and uninteresting, you pay for where the restaurant is and that's it. Cost - 280 Euros for very little and we didn't even have wine). The experience at Parizzi warrants as many visits as I can afford. My problem at Parizzi was that I wanted to eat all the dishes that arrived at our table, even the ones my two friends ordered LOL Order the Tiramisu for two if its still available, the Dry Ice made the desert Magical (wish we ordered it). February 28th, 2025 I have just finished just shy of a 3 hour 7 course culinary extravaganza in a uniquely personal environment . A tasting of what’s on offer from The Parizzi Restaurant in the heart of Parma ( confession, It’s not my my first visit). Food is exceptional, and the service is friendly. As expected for a top-class venue. The courses were so different and surprising, I found it difficult to appreciate everything. I’m still not sure which course I preferred the most. They were all that good. Take a look at the photo’s! I hope you have the opportunity to book a table at The Parizzi Restaurant, It’s on another level.

We had dinner at Parizi when we found out that in the same building where we booked a studio, there was a very good restaurant. And it was really good…. The studio was very nice, spacious, good airco, good bed and very nice style. Location is teally good; about 500 m to walk from a good parking garage and located at the centre storico from Parma. Then the restaurant, this was amazing. We decided to go for a 3 course meal because we not sure if we could made the 5-course meal. It started with a waffel with parmesan cheese, it sounds simple but the tasteveas delicious.we got another apatizer, just wow. My antipasti was with 36 months old parma ham and salami. The taste was unbelieveably good, after that a brilliant pasta and also the secondo was absolute star level. On top of that, the waiter was a star…he focussed all the time on our table and made sure we had just the right amount of wine in our glass to keep it cold and always the possibilty to drink some of the very tastfull wine. We had coffee with home made pralines and a limoncello. This was a brilliant dinner evening, I don’t have anything to complain. The atmosphere in the restaurant, the home made bread and crackers, really all the details were perfect. If you are in Parma: go for it!

Visitato mesi fa.
