A dive in the real Italian experience: excellent food, lovely personnel and also fair prices! Walking 10 minutes from the center was very worth the effort. The gluten free pizza was amazing and there were many other gluten free options. Most importantly, they give a lot of attention to the allergy, which made me enjoy the dinner without concerns (many restaurants don't seem to care that much of the consequences customers might have). I usually don't write reviews, but tonight I had a very special experience. A sincere Italian experience as out of the romantic movies. The waiters and owner were so friendly and considered (especially about my gluten allergy). Also this is the place where the locals go to. They had many gluten free options, very tasty and hand made. They explained that they have celiac members in the family so they really understand what it means. Also my Italian boyfriend really enjoyed the food. Premetto che è la prima volta che scrivo una recensione, ma questo locale non so per quale motivo mi ha fatto venir voglia di dire la mia. Il locale si presenta come un ambiente accogliente adatto a chi vuole passare una serata tranquilla e poco impegnativa a mio parere, il personale fa il proprio dovere. I problemi si presentano nel momento in cui vedi arrivare i piatti o osservi il menù. So benissimo che già di suo la città non è che sia un paradiso del risparmio, ma il locale presenta prezzi medio-alti che potrei anche riuscire a giustificare se solo rispecchiassero le portate vere e proprie. Le pizze (sottili ma buone) alla fin fine possono anche starci, il minimo è 6,5 euro per una Marinara (un tantino oneroso a dirla tutta), il massimo 13 euro per una pizza più elaborata; ma diciamo che sono abbastanza buone, molto leggere dunque ci posso anche stare. Ma a parer mio il locale frega letteralmente il cliente sulle piccole cose: 2€ in più se vuoi una pizza senza lattosio manco la delattosassero al momento in laboratorio. Cioè se sono intollerante devo pure pagare di più, bah... . Ma la ciliegina sulla torta è stata la porzione di patatine pagata ben 5 euro servita in un piattino quasi da caffè, penso di aver contato 20 patatine in tutto per di più surgelate. Ultimo ma non ultimo 5 euro di coperto manco se mangi a buckingham palace e 3 euro di acqua che vabbe ormai manco mi stupivano più.
