Pizzeria Ristorante La Bottega della Pizza Parma — Restaurant in Parma

We arrived in Parma this evening rather hungry. We were happy to find this great little pizza shop. All four of us greatly enjoyed our pizzas! The best we've had in Italy. My teen sons want to go back several times, even though we are only here for a few days. Service was good and patient with our very bad Italian. The pumpkin pizza is phenomenal! They seem to do a lot of delivery business, and the dining room is small but the four of us had plenty of room and there were other seats still available. So glad we found this place!

We are sitting at home here in Seattle, Washington USA and wanting pizza for dinner, but what we really want is to go back to Parma to this amazing little spot and get their pumpkin pizza. One year later, and we are still talking about this perfect little pizzeria! That should tell you...

A little jewel in the crown of Parma. This small pizzeria clearly does a lot of take out business and only has a couple of tables but don’t let that put you eating in this friendly pizzeria that uses the best local ingredients, think ham and parmigiano cheese in their gourmet creations. The dough was superb and the toppings sublime and incredible value at €13.50. They were so good we couldn’t resist trying a « normal » pizza (an inferno) at €10 which was absolutely delicious using quality toppings. We arrived, and we were received by the owner (we think), who was very friendly. We ordered, we ate, and we were full, so we couldn't finish the pizzas. Furthermore, we requested a box for takeout (there were plenty of boxes there), and his answer was NO. And he gave us two small bags, but they were not nice for pizzas and not friendly on his way to answer. As well, at the moment of paying, the machine for paying by card was not working, and instead of apologizing (like the young worker did), he was super rude, saying we needed to pay by cash, yes or yes.
