I recently visited this restaurant and was blown away by the quality of the food and the hospitality of the chef, a talented young lady. The pasta with truffle was an absolute standout - the flavors were interesting and perfectly balanced. The steak was also cooked to perfection, with a beautiful sear on the outside and tender, juicy meat on the inside. But the real star of the meal was the cheesecake for dessert - it was so rich and creamy, I could hardly believe it was real.

Throughout my dining experience, the chef made sure to check in with me and ensure that everything was to my liking. Slightly off the beaten path which is part of what makes it so charming. Resist the temptation to eat outside and instead go to the restaurant downstairs. It is beautiful and decorated with hundreds of black and white photos depicting the history of Perugia through the 20th century. The food is authentic Italian, home made and delicious. No menu translations but a few of the servers speak English well. In the small upstairs part of the restaurant they have their own salumeria so be sure to have an antipasti, it is well worth it and beautifully served. Premetto che la valutazione dovrebbe essere meno 10, ma purtroppo non è prevista. Sarò un po prolisso ma non posso esimermi. Venerdi 8 agosto ore 13/ 13 e 30 c.a.:

Dopo aver aspettato un'ora 3 hamburgher da 12/13 euro cad e mezz'ora una porzione di porchetta ( ordinata successivamente agli hamburgher nel tentativo di riuscire finalmente a mangiare qualcosa), un po spazientito ho chiesto il conto dell'acqua che nel frattempo avevamo bevuto comunicando l'intenzione di lasciare il tavolo. A questo punto si scopre che la "comanda" dei 3 h era andata persa. Contestualmente il tizio mi dice che la porchetta era disponibile e che non mi stavo comportando correttamente. Mi sono detto disponibile a pagargliela aggiungendo che io al suo posto mi sarei esclusivamente scusato ammettendo un errore di gestione delle ordinazioni. Dopo un brevissimo e pacato scambio di opinioni uscito dal locale mi è stato dato l'appellativo di "TURISTA ROMPICOGLIONI". Ho fatto presente che, naturalmente, non ero particolarmente d'accordo con tale appellativo e che dopo aver aspettato un'ora decidere di andarsene era la reazione minima che potessero aspettarsi , il tutto alzando un pochino la voce ma restando sempre nell'ambito dell'educazione senza insultare nessuno. Credo che il personaggio e il suo comportamento si commentino da soli. Specifico che il locale a pranzo non era affollatissimo quindi in teoria credo gestibilissimo. Il tutto si sarebbe potuto gestire e risolvere con le scuse (che sarebbero state accettate) e la disponibilità da parte loro di preparare al volo quanto ordinato un'ora prima ma hanno voluto scegliere un'altra via che credo di poter dire che non si è rivelata per nulla intelligente. Chi lavora può incorrere in qualche problema gestionale ma in questo caso la scintilla è stata altro, cioè il voler a tutti costi aver ragione. N.B.
