Chick ‘N Burger — Restaurant in Pisa

I had a strange experience here. The owner seemed nice at first and was very apologetic because his colleague was late for work. No problem—I told him not to worry since he was on his own. He then brought us a “starter” that turned out to be half-frozen. Again, no big deal; I just let him know.

When his colleague finally showed up, I thought things would speed up, but they didn’t. We ended up waiting over an hour for our food, which was clearly reheated, nothing fresh, everything frozen. For the price, the quality was really poor.

At that point, I just wanted to pay and leave without making a fuss. But when I checked the receipt, I couldn’t believe it, they charged us for the subpar “complimentary” starter I never even asked for.

I went there 3 times and everytime i got the best of everything. Staff is so polite & kind. Food is amazing, i tried their wrap, fried chicken (spicy & normal both), burger and their special bbq with their special sauces (spicy & garlic) and every single one of them was delicious. Prices are also very affordable. The ambiance of the restaurant is well decorated and clean. 3rd time i went there on my birthday and when staff heard it's my birthday they wished me happy birthday and also gave me some complimentary birthday treat (freebies). Ordered food 15-30 mins estimated delivery time. Took 1hour 10mins before they finished cooking the order while the delivery driver was waiting 35min in the restaurant. When we got the order the fried chicken was hot the burgers were luke warm and the chips were stone cold like they had been cooked over an hour ago. Not to mention that we ordered a 1.5 liter coke but received x3 330ml cans which is 1litre not the 1.5liters we ordered. We had to spit the cans up between 4 of us. Overall the food was average for what was actually warm.
