As we walked down the Borgo Stretto we discovered this little ice cream parlour. I was a bit disappointed as I read that the biggest ice would cost 2,50 ⬠because I wanted a "real big ice" but what I got was more than real big!
a "small" ice (1 flavour) costs 1,50 ⬠a "medium" ice (2-3 flavours) costs 2,00 ⬠a "grande" ice (4 flavours) costs 2,50 ā¬
There are approximately 20 flavours to choose from.
That was so much ice that my stomach really hurt ^^ and it tasted like ice...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhen in Pisa...and I do go often....because of relatives.....I always made it a point to stop by La Bottega del Gelato....However, my last visit there, about 2 months ago....I discovered to my complete disappointment, that the ice cream had lost somewhat its taste and texture....it was more like ice-ice-cream...not the creamy wonderful taste I used to enjoy. I wonder if the place has changed owner or something....I have been going to Pisa for many, many years...since the 80's....and this was truly a great disappointment. I hope they will take a turn for the better and continue to serve up delicious...
