We didn't have a reservation, but were able to be seated straight away... the menu does centralise on seafood, but other things are available. The staff have more than adequate language skills. There was definitely a "no rush" attitude to service, which was good as we were there for the whole experience. The fillet steak served with 5 salts would have had more of an impact if I knew what the different salts were. I could tell by taste that they were different, but I was not told what they were... The rest of the meal was really nice. The selection of grilled fish was so fresh, you could feel the ocean breeze... This is not a cheap place to eat, but it is worth the price.

An acquaintance recommended to pay them a visit when visiting Pisa and it did not disappoint. Beppe welcomed us warmly and led us into the dining hall, a traditional Tuscan setting up that’s got its appeal. He helped us with recommendations and the food was delicious and flavoursome. Our daughter loved the truffle and egg spaghetti. We enjoyed the fish of the day smoked sashimi and two typical pasta dishes. The spaghetti “on the board” (seafood in a rich tomato sauce) was to die for. Paired it with a white Vermentino wine, which was crisp and mineral. Desserts are also all home made and apt for any sweet tooth. We’ll come back as soon as we can!

This restaurant was recommended by my customer and it didn't disappoint. The food and the service was excellent and we spent hours here just enjoying the atmosphere and the fresh food. Then, when we were ready to leave, it started raining cats and dogs so the owner kindly gave us an umbrella each to get home dry. Highly recommended place, if I go to Pisa again I will pay a visit.
