We tried to visit this pizzeria on our recent trip to Pisa as it was highly recommended by our hosts. Unfortunately we were ignored by staff and unable to order anything. We arrived, decided from the menu what we would like to order and joined the queue. Once we reached the queue the staff behind the counter avoided making eye contact with us, busied themselves with some other task or greeted and served other customers as they came in behind us. While I appreciate the language barrier has its difficulties when abroad but it isn't a good enough reason to simply ignore we are even stood infront of the counter. Read moreWe popped in here for a quick bite to eat late Friday afternoon. Wow. We ordered a marinara pizza (basically a margarita but with garlic) and a roast beef focaccia sandwich. Both were delicious, and we all said it was the best pizza we had ever had. We were so impressed that we returned the next day at lunchtime. The place was abuzz and we were lucky to get a table. You know it is a good place when it is full of locals. The staff are very friendly and there are plenty of pizza and focaccia sandwich options.
