SudPisa — Restaurant in Pisa

We were walking in the streets of pisa and found this place by chance in a corner.

SUD, As the name suggests carry wines from the south of italy. They have wines and beers, happy hour and also food. We chanced upon during the happy hour.

Highlights:

1. nice outdoor benches. Till 9pm you get unlimited free food with purchase of your drink. (Options of 4 salads available: watermelon-feta, couscous, chick pea, cucumber walnut, hummus and breads)

2. lot of very young people: both locals and travellers hang out here. Open atmosphere and shared benches so can have conversations with other travellers and locals

3. nice people working here, was able to give us samples to decide from and explained the differences

4. NO Coperto charge, this is a great plus. Very few places in Italy haha

If I am visiting pisa again, I would definitely go here. Good evening...

Hands down, the best bar in Pisa! The staff here are incredibly friendly and laid-back, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Their drink menu is an adventure in itself, with a diverse selection of beverages and cocktails, many of which hail from the southern part of Italy.

I must give a special nod to their aperitifs; they truly hit the mark. This is the perfect spot for a fantastic night out, and it's no surprise that it's a magnet for the younger crowd. A highly recommended destination to kick off a...

Bar très sympa, bonne ambiance, serveur très accueillant malgré le fait que je ne parle pas italien (et très mal l'anglais je reconnais). Nous avons degusté une planche de produits typiques de l'italie (fromages, charcuterie, champignons marinés etc.) ce qui est parfait pour des vacanciers comme nous. J'ai pu tester une petite sélection de liqueurs avant de me décider pour la crème d'amandes au citron. Pourquoi j'ai enlevé une étoile : à cause des vendeurs à la sauvette qui nous ont importuné toute la soirée (au moins 6 ou 7 en une heure). Ce qui nous a choqué, c'est qu'ils ne se contentent pas de démarcher les clients à l'extérieur, mais ils rentrent dans le bar comme chez eux pour approcher les clients. Ils dérangeaient même nos voisins de table italiens, ils dérangeaient les serveurs dans leurs déplacements (le local étant deja petit), en plus ils utilisent les toilettes. Nous n'avons vraiment pas compris le "délire" d'accepter ces personnes à l'intérieur qui ne consomment pas et nuisent selon nous à l'établissement. Encore un petit détail : la carte bancaire n'est pas acceptée. Pour finir, le bar mérite 5 étoiles moyennant ces bémols ! Merci au serveur...
