Bakery Tossini 2 Of M.Tossini & C. (S.N.C.) — Restaurant in Rapallo

During our trip to Italy with my wife and baby, we went into this establishment. There was a large, sullen man at the cash register who treated us badly just because we were Muslim.

We bought dessert and coffee there. Because the pizzas there weren't good, he wanted to feed the pizza next door to our child. He gestured at me and said, "You can't eat that here."

So I cancelled everything and left.

I bought it from PIZZA Sİ, the shop next door. I think they're on bad terms, but it wasn't our fault....

This bakery had the most amazing range of both sweet and savoury items. We stopped by for a coffee and sweet breakfast treat and it was hard to choose just one item.

I settled on a donut with an orange filling. Turns out that was homemade apricot jam in abundance and it was sooooo good.

The place was absolutely buzzing with people and I can see why this is a favourite with the locals.

Sia per la colazione che per un pranzo veloce o da asporto è tutto ottimo dal caffè alle brioche, dai dolci alle focacce che anche se le mangi fredde non seccano come le altre della concorrenza, ma penso che Tossini ne abbia poca di concorrenza al suo livello infatti c'è sempre coda a qualsiasi ora, in tutti i negozi, non solo a Rapallo. Certo bisogna aver pazienza e magari aspettare un pó ma ne vale veramente la pena. Nonostante la folla i tavoli vengono puliti al cambio e il pavimento esterno spazzato frequentemente perché la gente è maleducata e butta le cose per terra. Tavolini interni ed esterni per consumazione sul posto. Accessibile a tutti. Ho potuto appurare che il personale non è tutto gentile e sprint allo stesso modo, io sono stata fortunata ad essere stata servita per due volte su quattro da una ragazza di nome Federica, velocissima, precisa e molto gentile. Vista l'affluenza sarebbe utile un sistema di numerazione per la fila, questo aiuterebbe a creare meno confusione e a rendere meno nervoso...
