eldòlz..- Pasticceria - Gelateria — Restaurant in Rapallo

I’ve gone to Eldolz twice since arriving Rapallo 6 days ago because my initial impression was a genuine, caring and friendly demeanor. I don’t speak Italian, but it did not matter. The kind women all made sure I received what was ordered. There was an English menu available as well. The inside room (I sat in the cute outdoor patio yesterday) had an amazing jazz radio station playing which added an even more surreal feel to where I was enjoying a delicious meal. The unique menu covers many beverages, breakfast and sandwich foods that are aimed to be health conscious. Beer and wine and well equipped gelato counter also included. My green tea had a delicious jasmine flavor and the layered Buffalo mozzarella cheese, cooked ham, huge tomatoes and pesto on dark bread toast was a sensational taste combination. Service was good - even when another patron sitting at a table near us was incredibly rude, our server kept her head and handled it.

Food was great. Omelette cooked to perfection, nice bacon, soft eggs done just how they're supposed to be, great coffee. We raved about the place the other night and a group of family members came the next morning and they also raved about it. They said almost the exact same thing - omelette to perfection, eggs fantastic, etc.

It is really pity that you judge your clients as people in hurry. People in hurry will definitely not come back to their favorite place each time during their visit in Rapallo. Since we are regular clients we can really see the difference between the quality and presentation of the food and lazy staff working in this place. It is not acceptable to wait 20min. for ordering and 19min. to have served...
