This restaurant does not deserve a 4.5-star rating at all—food and service are both terrible. This was the worst meal we had during our time in Rome. The cheese pasta was way too salty. The fried squid had zero seasoning (no salt, no pepper—just one lemon wedge). It was greasy, and the fried veggies with the squid tasted a bit bitter, probably from low-quality produce. Even the "fried chips" were just pre-packaged ones poured out of the bag, with no extra flavor. The service was even more annoying. A middle-aged male waiter was rude: he refused to let us use an empty chair for our bags, saying "Two people only get two chairs." But nearby Italians could sit alone at two-person tables, or two at four-person tables, using empty chairs for their stuff. Worse, when we’d eaten 80% of our food and were still chatting, he took our plates and utensils away. Finally, he threw the receipt on the table with a bad attitude. As Asians, we think this was racial discrimination.

Just returned from dinner at Bibi and I have to say that I am very disappointed. The food was okay 3,5-4 stars and the service was fast. Food wasn’t rated higher as I had better food in the neighborhood. The main problem came with the bread (which I pointed out to the owner): it was simply stale and hard. When mentioning this he said „but you didn’t have to pay for it“. Yes, that is very true but why give mediocre products to your customers and then say „but it was free“? I would have rather paid and get something nice … So 1 point down for a super bad bread and 1 point down for an owner that wasn’t listening and has the wrong attitude. Compared to Ragno d‘Oro this place doesn’t stand.ä a chance. I really hope the owner takes this as a positive critique because I really want them to do good!

Found this place as I was trying to find a non-touristy restaurant after visiting the Vatican. Located on a quiet street there were only two groups there when I arrived (Sunday at 13h, so it mustn't get too busy here), and they all seemed like locals having a nice calm meal. The owner (?) was very helpful and helped translate and describe the entire pasta section to me when he saw me pull out my phone to translate some of the dish names. I ordered the one with mussels (13Euro), as they were fresh that day. The dish itself was underwhelming, a bit too light but the pasta was nice and al dente and the mussels did indeed taste fresh. I'd give 4 for food and 5 for service and atmosphere, and 4.5 rounds up to 5 so I'll give her a 5.

Am sorry to write this but feel I am obliged to after tonight’s events.

Me and my wife attended this Restaurant after reading great reviews of how welcoming the staff made you feel, the explanations they provide regarding the local cuisine and the family feel atmosphere.

Sadly this was not our experience.

We attended the location and asked for a table for two, the waiter a young male was very rude and initially snubbed us until I pointed to a table.

Once we was seated he took approx 10 minutes to attend our table as he was busy attending other locals who came in after us. This behaviour continued throughout our evening. We were being treated like second class citizens, locals first was his attitude.

When the waiter eventually came over for our order we asked him about certain things on the menu and what they contained. His replies were very short, non informative and delivered in a rude obnoxious manner.

Once the food was ready and delivered to our table. The waiter yet again was rude and pretty much dropped the plates on the table and walked away. At this point I was very close to walking away and leaving our meal. However I was not going to play tit for tat and lower my standard to this man’s behaviour.

Due to this behaviour displayed, the unwelcoming atmosphere we decided to leave and not continue on with desert.

On a positive note the food was great, however our experience was tainted by a waiter who was rude, obnoxious and very...

No, non ci mancherete affatto.
