Absolutely outstanding experience at Bull Steak in Ostiense! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between cozy and lively — great lighting, stylish decor, and an energy that makes you feel instantly at home.
The food? Truly exceptional. Every dish we tried was cooked to perfection, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The steaks were melt-in-your-mouth tender, perfectly seasoned, and were just as impressive. You can tell there's real passion behind everything that comes out of the kitchen.
What really made the evening unforgettable was the staff — incredibly friendly, attentive, and full of personality. They not only made us feel like honored guests but also brought a sense of fun and authenticity to the whole experience. You can tell they genuinely enjoy what they do, and it makes all the difference.

Read moreWe decided to come to this joint for our last meal in Rome before we headed off. Of course we only had some blogs, tripadvisor and google maps to check on the reviews. Well it wasn't exactly up to our expectations.
Service. Staff were friendly, especially the butcher who introduced us to the different cuts of meat. We were also ushered to our seats fairly quickly even without a reservation.
Experience. I loved how American the place felt. The butcher also manages to establish a relationship fairly quickly with the customers, making it a comfortable setting for us.
Food. A bit of a let down. I get that they were trying to cook the steak in an American fashion. But cooking the meat straight out of the chiller made it tough and over-charred on the outside but rare on the inside. Also everything else was a bit too salty, from the chicory to the spinach, and sausages.
Would probably try to give some suggestions next time to see...
Read moreI absolutely loved this place. The food was great. Butchered, cut, and cooked on site. The waiter was awesome. He was very friendly and spoke English very well. The butcher was great..funny guy. I has a 900g (32 oz) t-bone. Amazing! the sides were great. Try the eggplant flowersettes stuffed with mozzarella....and the spinach with parmesan, that blew my mind. I wasn't expecting spinach to be that good. The baked potatoes (cubed potatoes seasoned and baked...not the fluffy whole potato i was used to)...but OMG...so flavorful. The cost is a little pricey for Italy, as should be expected for any quality steakhouse....but it was at least half the price of the USA. My whole meal was about 65 euro. 32 oz steak...3 sides..2 Cokes..and a Jack Daniels...65 Euro. OMG...I can't wait...
