We visited here in February 2025. If you are planning a visit to the Non-Catholic Cemetery, then this could not be better located. Also, a quieter part of town and near the Pyramid Metro. The menu is 100% vegan! We were lucky to get squeezed in, as this is a reservation kind of place for lunch, Now, it's not cheap, but you can choose from a huge buffet selection of dishes. This is then weighed to get your price! Mine was 16 euros. But then I'd walked across Rome and wanted some nice food... Service was very good and typically Italian cheeriness. Probably, not for those who like to eat in more quiet settings. Anyway, stroll across the road and see Gramsci and Keat's graves! Amazing...

Best food I've had in Rome as a vegan so far. Ate from the buffet, and was so happy to finally have more "normal" everyday food with a homemade vibe. Everything was delicious and I took 2 pastries to go. You pay per weight of the plate, very straightforward. Carlo was so nice and friendly, he even recommended vegan locations in Naples and really made the visit perfect. Overall would recommend to any Vegan visiting the city, even if it is a bit out of the way. Update: The pastries were divine. I recommend the one in the photo, don't remember what it's called, with custard and cherry jam in the center.

We wanted a break from all the pasta so found this vegan/vegetarian place. While it has a large buffet we decided to sit down and order from their sit down menu which seems to be available for dinner Friday-Sunday or so. We got the appetizer taster which was great! The home made hummus was amazing and the other dishes were inventive and well plated. Also very well priced for the quantity and quality of the food. For my main I got a pumpkin soup which was tasty but nothing as extraordinary as the appetizers.

Vegan and vegetarian meals and incredible baked goods and 100% organic!

Food** We arrived here for an early lunch after visiting the nearby Pyramid of Cestius (literally across the street, for more info, please see our review on this site). We were greeted by lovely staff who told us that unfortunately the lunch buffet did not start until 12:30. Nevertheless, they still had some croissants, and sandwiches to be served a la carte. We got a sandwich with shredded chik’n on poppy seed toast, a bite-sized seitan burger, and a chocolate chip muffin. We also ordered a Mocha espresso shot. The sandwiches could be served warmed or cold and came in a small bite size or a larger size. The food was very good and had a great combination of savory and acidity. The poppy seed toast was slightly dry when warmed up so may be better cold. The muffin was absolutely delicious and it is hard to get a good soft vegan muffin with adequate sweetness and flavor. The restaurant also offered vegan gelato and I’m sure the buffet is delicious as well, we just didn’t have a chance to try it but would definitely return.

Service ** The staff was very kind and spoke English well. They also helped us with our choices when we found out we could not do the buffet lunch yet. There is no charge for tap water and the waitress delivered the food to the table.

Atmosphere ** Very natural atmosphere with cozy corners. Patrons can choose to sit inside or outside. Bathrooms were also...

I DON'T recommend anyone going here! Best to avoid. I ordered some food with my friend and in the end we were treated HORRIBLY. First of all, the staff seemed confused about which receipt was ours. When we looked at it we questioned if it was in fact the right one because the pricing of the two plates were vastly different, despite ordering the same amount of food. At this point they found another receipt they thought was ours and brought over another member of the staff. This man was incredibly RUDE and assumed we didn't want to pay. Then the owner came over, explaining the validity of her scales, constantly cutting us off. We tried to explain that we felt we received the wrong receipt and wanted to get some clarity on the pricing. It is our right as customers to ask about the bill, especially when we feel it is wrong. The real issue is that instead of listening and trying to rationally have a conversation the man behind the counter started YELLING derogatory remarks and acting quite like a bully child. I suspect the reason the staff acted in such a disgusting way (screaming, throwing money and the receipt at us) is because they were trying to take advantage of two foreigners. In the end we did pay (that was always the intention) but if the staff has to scream and harass someone because a customer wants clarification on something then they should simply not be in business. I would be embarrassed to frequent such a rude establishment. The defense of the restaurant was that they assumed we didn't want to pay, which was something never said. In fact, if we didn't want to pay, we would've just left, not come up to the counter to pay. It's absolutely not worth coming here.

Non consiglierei a nessuno questo posto! Meglio evitarlo.

It's crazy how good this place was- we went for dinner and had their Al a carte menu, and we can't get over how creative, inventive and delicious the food was at a place that also does a buffet in the day. It's a joke!

The risotto with mushrooms, coffee powder and parsley was amazing. We'll be stealing this and trying to recreate at home! So good!

The ragu on the maltagliati was insanely good. So deep and rich in flavor and the perfect pasta to accompany it.

The seitan in lemon and lavender with mashed potatoes was I think the best plate of food Ive had in Italy. If you were served it in a fine dining restaurant you'd be happy to have paid triple the price for it. The seitan was so well cooked, melt in your mouth stuff and the sauce was delicate but packed with flavour.

The tempeh of the day was served with onion, chicory and black garlic and packed a hell of a punch but again was an incredibly enjoyable plate of food.

All in all, you write this place off at your peril as a vegan in Rome. We dined at a couple of far more expensive places in the city and this put them to shame in some cases.

I wish we'd had more time so we could have gone back multiple times and tried their breakfast pastries and...
