During our trip to Rome, Italy, we quickly became temporary regulars at this wonderful spot. Conveniently located near our Airbnb, it offered the best American breakfast within walking distance, and we absolutely loved it. Before our arrival, we made sure to call ahead since our group had more than 10 people, and they were able to accommodate us without any issues. Initially, we were a bit nervous, but to our delight, the breakfast was fantastic. On our first visit, the eggs were not up to par—something about the consistency and preparation just didn’t sit right. However, on our subsequent visits, they nailed it perfectly. Our table tried a variety of dishes, and everyone left satisfied. We highly recommend the green apple juice and cappuccinos; they were the perfect way to kickstart our day. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the bathrooms were spotless. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Sad to have to leave this review, but after visiting this restaurant many times I have to let you all know that they are scamming tourists. Unfortunately, many restaurants in Rome are guilty of giving different prices to tourists than Italians. Although I love the vibe and atmosphere at this place, on my last visit I realized that I received a very different price than what is stated on the menu. Also, a typical price for Roman traditional pasta dishes is 13-14 euro and I was charged 17. Also paid higher prices for the appetizers, too. The octopus says online that it should be 15 euro and I was charged 19. It’s shameful to rip off the very demographic of people driving one of the major industries in the country. Yet here we are. Photos attached of the menu online and my personal bill.

5/5 on every point. The food was amazing, we tried meatballs (which were described as "the pole position" of antipasti), we tried Supli which was great (if you like Risotto, just wait till you try it fried) and last but not least, Stake Tartare (another easy cinco de cinco). For drinks we had Negroni and Hugo Spritz, both just awesome. Service: easy, 5/5 our waitress Rafaela was outstanding and her recommendations were on point, if you can ask for her, please do. Atmosphere, 5/5, live music (swing music) with a trumpet/guitar duo that was just outstanding. Good volume, enough to hear the music and have a conversation. This has been the best place in Rome until now (day 3/7 in the city. Please visit, don't miss it.

We went to this cafe for a 40th birthday breakfast. To start with the service was not great, with the male server quite rude when we tried to order coffee. (The female server who took our order was quite nice). When the orange juices arrived we had to ask whether it is normal for the cafe to mix fresh juice with water because they seemed very diluted. This should have been our first red flag. When the breakfast dishes started to come out (after quite a wait), we were frankly shocked. Every egg dish was cold, the Benedict sauce on all the eggs Benedicts seemed not only to be out of a packet but it had not even been heated up. Even the pancakes were cold. We complained and received replacement dishes, but they were also too cold to eat. The Croque-madame was on white sandwich bread which had not been toasted. It’s one thing to make food that is not super delicious or to everyone’s taste, but this was so far below the standard of what any place should be serving that we were almost too shocked to know what to do apart from simply cancel any further replacements. To the cafe’s credit, we were not charged for the food. The croissants, by contrast were absolutely delicious. My advice: if you’re going here, have a quick coffee and a croissant, but expect...

If you want to taste great food, have a nice dinner in a beautiful place, drinking great wine, this is the place for you!! This restaurant offers a unique experience, the staff is friendly, welcoming and professional, the food is TOP, and the wine selection is extensive and excellent. As a frequenter of Roman restaurants I ABSOLUTELY suggest you stop here. I went there last night with 4 friends for the first time and it will be one of my must stops in the future. I suggest trying their "Amatriciana." Definitely one of the best I've ever had. Prices are completely reasonable. Just a little comment on some reviews I read about this restaurant. Someone says "small portions", I get it, you may not like the food, you may not like the service - everything is personal - but the portions are not! How many ounces of pasta are you going to eat? Our plates were big! Not normal... BIG! On another I read "untrained staff". Even this is not debatable! The staff is MORE THAN PREPARED, maybe you should ask to understand. Please, if you are reviewing someone else's work, at least try to be HONEST! For you it is venting, for them it is work and for other customers this is a disservice. If you just need to vent,...

Although I didn’t have food (I’m sure it would have been good) we were greeted very rudely right when we walked in. Then they put us at a small table in the corner, pulled up a chair for three people to sit at a table for 2. There were several other tables available. My friend went to the bathroom, and was stared at by several wait staff and then laughed at by them. As well as the women server who rolled her eyes at her and continued to laugh at us for no reason. The woman who was helping us didn’t give us a physical menu and tossed a QR code on the table. The QR code menu doesn’t have anything other than appetizers and drinks. We were clearly not going to be served food and as far as I’m concerned, denied service and were treated so poorly. We got up and left and heard many voices and saw one of the staff by the door who shook his head at us. This was very upsetting as we were very excited to eat there and left feeling upset by being treated blatantly rude. Very unacceptable for any person to do this, especially to people wanting to spend money at your restaurant and enjoy a nice meal. Hope this behavior is fixed and that the employees and staff understand...
