Delizie di Pizza — Restaurant in Rome

So, 09.10.2024. I was waiting to visit Galleria Borghese which is nearby. I choose this place to take a pizza because it looks so not commercial. It is a real place for Italian pizza. I had a pizza with eggplant and pomodori sechi ( not seci as I was spelling) and my wife with truffles. It was the best choice that I could make. A totally diffent pizza than commercial ones. The base was crispy enough but not dry. Pomodori sechi, semi dry tomatoes actually, were perfectly for filling the taste as those one used by Octavian are not soaked in vinegar. Started my day with DELICIOUS fresh hot pizza from this little spot for breakfast and loved it so much I dropped back for more in the evening! The staff was so nice - in the evening, they brought me out a few extra pieces since they were closing ❤️. Had many different varieties between breakfast and the evening stop-in and each variety was amazing. Loved the crust and perfect amount of toppings. So many to choose from. Employees were so kind. Excellent lunch experience. We tried three different pizzas with an array of toppings. Each was unique and delectable. Paired with a beer this meal would be hard to beat.
