Would recommend the tourist traps over this place and I would give zero stars if I could. The female owner pretended to not understand English when I asked for the check and waved my wallet, could hear and UNDERSTAND her complaining to her husband in Italian saying that we didn’t order a lot of food so she decided to bring us a second bottle of water and opened it in front of us before plopping it on the table without a word. I did not ask for water or bread. They also raised the price of the fish that was on the menu, apparently fish is 5€ more on a Friday or if you look foreign. Food was mid, suckling pig so dense you could throw it knock someone out, pasta quite salty - presumably to get you to pay for water. My parents visiting Rome for the first time from Switzerland were horrified at both the food quality and the price gouging. And before you tell me I have the wrong restaurant - I have location stamped photos. It was in September last year and I’m still seething that’s how bad it was. Oh yeah, we also got begged on by some lady the owners saw and...

Our first night in Rome....We where wandering the streets closeby our hotel looking for a restaurant to experience descent Italian food and we stumbled upon this cosy little family restaurant with excellent food and service..The reastaurant was not even open, but the owner, his wife and daughter invited us in and offered us drinks while we wait for them to open... And then the food came!!! Before we came here, people warned us that the Italian people is unfriendly and we experienced it first hand from the moment we landed this morning....till we arrived at Restaurant Casa Mia, the total opposite!!...wow guys...excellent food and extreme friendly service...you made us feel...

A reference restaurant for the locals in the neighborhood. It serves traditional and basic dishes with additional off menu daily suggestions. All of them are prepared with quality ingredients, served timely and very reasonably priced. The location is uninspiring, but tables are spaced enough that you will not have dinner with your neighbors. Parking in the area may be a challenge. So better to come on foot or be prepared to spend quite some time hunting for a parking spot. For people with reduced mobility, be aware that toilets are located in the basement and accessible...

If you’d like to go to an authentic Roman restaurant you need to come to this place. It has a good ambience, the menu is quite varied and the price-quality ratio is really good too. The best part was the customer service we received. The waitress was super nice and welcoming, helping us with recommendations and all. Food was really good and I would definitely recommend it.

A CASA MIA mangio meglio, molto meglio.
