Derry Rock Pub — Restaurant in Rome

We let our 11 year old find a pub to watch the PSG v Real Madrid game, and he found this gem. All you see is a metal door from the outside, but you walk down into the underground pub. The bartender was friendly. The drinks were great. The food was amazing. Best fries in Europe for us - London, Wales, Paris, Venice and Almafi Coast couldn’t compete, nor the rest of Rome. We showed up around 7,30 they were mopping floors and it was empty but had music playing. We asked if they were closing cuz we didn't wanna put them out! The guy laughs and told us "nah, we just opened, go til 5am" Say less brother! It was great. We visited on a Thursday night around 7 and it was very quiet. This meant there was little atmosphere which was ashame because it did have the vibes of being banging bar if more people were in. As it was our last night we did move on having said we would come back next time we were in Rome. Service was great, staff friendly and helpful.
