Mozart Cafe — Restaurant in Rome

We had breakfast here almost every morning during our week in Rome. This bar is truly a little gem. A family-owned business, where you are always greeted with a smile. All the staff are super friendly, interested, and speak different languages. The place is popular with both locals and tourists and always invites you to stop for a little chat. The coffee is great, but the real stars are the various baked goods, e.g. all kinds of cornettos, always freshly made.

Another unique feature is the opening hours: the bar opens at 6 a.m. already, which is absolutely unusual for the area. This means you can even grab a quick breakfast if you have an early appointment.

They also serve typical Italian hot dishes such as pasta and much more.

Rude staff. We booked a hotel around the corner with breakfast included and were given vouchers to have breakfast at this cafe. On the first day, we chose croissants and we got served different pastries we did not ask! When asking the owner, he said he cannot take it back as he put them on the table already. We told him that we did not order those as soon as he place the plate on our table. The staff was rude and walked away while I was talking to him. Poor customer service.

In response to your reply below, I never asked you any directions to any supermarket. Nor did you give me. The point is I wasn't happy with the service, you served me something I did not ask and told me that you can't change it anymore! I ended up paying for something I did not ask and never got what...

If you’re looking for a good mom and pop shop to go while you are in Italy this is the place to be! We stayed in a B&B around the corner and ate breakfast here every morning we went out to eat!

The staff was amazing and so inviting especially to a group where few spoke fluent Italian. They took time to teach us new words when we asked and were always so inviting and sweet when we walked in every morning!

It was very affordable and the food always came out amazing no matter what we ordered!
