Pizzeria del Sole — Restaurant in Rome

The Pizzeria del sole a Room and the fried balls are extremely good the only bad thing is the crowded people just being in the way, if you want to order a pizza you have to get a ticket number and wait for you number to be call-out. I don’t see a reason of why people are just there standing waiting for their turn and not letting the ones who had their number call and need to get thru the crowded people to able to see what pizza are available in the counter. Overall it was a 10-15 min wait totally worth it and much more if you’re coming from the other side...

My husband and I were staying at a hotel close by and I was on the lookout for the best local pizza place - we ended up trying Pizzeria del Sole on our second night in Rome, and ended up coming back every single night! The pizza, arancini and courgette flowers were absolutely amazing! We tried the margarita, capricciosa and 4 cheese pizza - we honestly can't recommend this place enough. The staff are also really friendly and welcoming and will help you with your order if needed....

When walking around Rome all I saw were tourist traps and cafes, until I eventually found this place. It might not seem that trustworthy at first glance but when you walk in you’re treated to people who are there to serve you. Their recommendations were delicious and they were quick to get my food out. It was nice to sit outside and be enveloped in the streets of rome. Overall I would recommend this place if you want something casual...
