After a few days of indulging in Rome's culinary delights, I found myself craving something beyond Italian cuisine. That's when I stumbled upon this hidden gem, tucked away just minutes from the Vatican Museum.

This small, family-owned Thai restaurant may have limited seating, but it's filled with flavor and warmth. Owner Chef Pum, along with her siblings, personally prepares each dish, ensuring an authentic Thai experience.

Som Tum Lao (off-menu item): A flavor bomb that instantly transported me back to Thailand. Kra Pao with Fried Egg: Expertly cooked and bursting with flavor. Shrimp Fried Rice: Delicious and satisfying.

Located at the entrance of Trionfale Market, this restaurant is perfect for refueling after a day of sightseeing.

Prices are very reasonable, considering the portion sizes and exceptional quality.

This place is legit!! This is better than the Thai food I have in LA. I was tired of all the pasta and Italian food on my trip and I found this place in a whim after spending the day in Vatican City. We ordered: green curry with chicken, chicken satay skewers with peanut sauce, shrimp fried rice, and mango sticky rice. Every dish was solid.

Don’t let the atmosphere deter you. This place is easy to miss. It’s tucked into a strip mall food court kind of situation. It’s the first stall on the left. Also: although in the name it says “Take-Away”, there are tables to eat outside if you wish.

I grew up in Thailand and my partner and I were living in Thailand the past 2 years. We are currently on a 6 month trip around Europe and have been CRAVING Thai food. To keep it short and sweet: If you want authentic, spicy, delicious, street style Thai food, come to this restaurant. We spoke Thai the entire evening and asked for Kai dao & Prik Nam pla (even though not offered on the menu) and they made it for us… perfection!!! Heaven in Rome. We will come back one day in the future, we were sooo happy to be at this restaurant. Khop Khun Kaaaaa naja, 💓💓💕💕🤍🤍🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭 we love Thailand and we love Chef Pum!!

To keep it short and sweet: If you want authentic, spicy, delicious, street style Thai food, come to this restaurant. We spoke Thai the entire evening and asked for Kai dao & Prik Nam pla (even though not offered on the menu) and they made it for us… perfection!!! Heaven in Rome. We will come back one day in the future, we were sooo happy to be at this restaurant. Khop Khun Kaaaaa naja, 💓💓💕💕🤍🤍🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭 we love Thailand and we love Chef Pum!!
