I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place! My husband and I âaccidentallyâ found it as we stayed at an Airbnb across from it. We got hooked the minute we walked in there! The food not only looked spectacular but it also tasted delicious and what superb way to immerse ourselves into the Italian culture. Then⌠the staff â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸. The staff was SPECTACULAR! I mean Italians are spectacular people already, but they went above and beyond to share âtheir foodâ with us. It was like: come, let me take excellent care of you and make sure that you fall in love with âRomaâ and will dream of coming back to Italy! They knew right away we were tourists as we didnât speak any Italian, and unlike certain places when we visited France, where that almost felt we would be pushed away, that in fact got them even more loving to us! Everyone, I mean everyone was happy, courteous and spoke great English, to our salvation! đ Two people went above and beyond: Deborah and Sara! They learned what we liked and enjoyed and after that we didnât even needed to order off the menu, they just came up with things that they knew we would be delighted with! It was like every morning, it was a new surprise, a new dish, and needless to say great laughs, cappuccinos and company! There was no way we could have a bad day, after starting it with such positive people and vibes! Sooooo⌠if you have the chance to visit, donât miss it! And please send my love to my girls â¤ď¸đĽ°. We will be back to see them, in due time! And to the managers and owner of this venue: outstanding job! And keep those girls well compensated, they are a huge asset to...
Read moreJust donât. The big restaurant nameâs sign and gentleman barker at the front of restaurant got us in. The food displayed behind the glass counters - pizzas, pastas, paninis, pastries, etc look appetizing enough. Especially for hungry and tired tourists like us. The manager/server is kind and welcoming enough but canât speak very good English so calls another person who can. This is where the trouble starts: we are excited to order but Server2 looks impatient and sighs a lot. She wonât answer basic questions w/ kindness, instead she gives us a look of exasperation w/ our requests for recommendations. We order the suggested basics: Margueriteâs pizza and carbonara. 10-12 minutes later, the Marguerite pizza arrives but there is not a single basil on it and the pasta looks like itâs got potential but, nope. It is bland and swimming in oil while bacon is chewy and hard like stale meats. In short, fellow traveller, do a bit more research and find a better place to spend your hard-earned money. This place is not it and doesnât do Italian food justice! OH! Forgot to say they refused to heat up two friendsâ pizzas order-off-counter too. We thought that was strange ârulesâ. Goodluck and...
Read moreI am I regular client in this restaurant. Today, when I was there, the lady DEBORA asked me to say her PLEASE for the order. Even she doesn't know how she could talk to the clients. But why do I have to say always PLEASE when I'm paying for the food with TAX? When international tourists have been there, are they saying PLEASE?? no, it's not that, it's only happening in Italy. The lady doesn't do anything, just always talking đ. She can't show her attitude with a client to tell her, "PLEASE* it's not mandatory anywhere around the world. But we always say think of you all time. Really they Have to change the mentality on how to talk with the clients, don't show behavior as a resistance. Not recommend at all when there has this kind of staff it's harmful to the clients as well for...
