After a busy and long morning at the Vatican Museum and St. Peter’s Basilica, we needed food, drink and no crowds. We knew we needed to get a few blocks away from Vatican City to achieve this quickly and was able to grab the lone outdoor table at Vulió. This place DID NOT disappoint. Two glasses of wine and two beers for my fiancé later, we had worked our way thru 4 menu items and had we not needed to leave to get to a pasta making class, we would have stayed for more. We first ordered the Negramaro and modugno and half way thru these we went in and ordered the al bano and Scarmacio. The flavors were plentiful on all 4 items and each was different enough that we walked away feeling very satisfied and craving more. Such a great place to get a snack, full meal or to simply indulge in everything Rome Street Food!

the sandwich place was cute! Indoor and outdoor seating available. We ordered the mortadella and walnut/honey sandwich, prosciutto and cheese, and the caprese salad. All were really delicious but the mortadella one with walnuts was extra tasty. The indoor seating is quite small and hot in summertime, but there is outdoor seating too. Service was great and it seemed like “locals” came to eat there which is a good sign. I’d go back for sure! My daughter ate so much, and she’s 7!

Perfect place, perfect people and even better food We ate almost all foccacia's and all our delicious, wine selection is outstanding and the drinks were always like a definition of what it should be. We found this place right after arrival in Rome and stayed with them until our last day (taxi picked us up to the airport from there). Place is owned by 2 brothers that with their sheer kindness and hospitality will give you the best impression on Italy you can have.

At first I was disappointed that a place that I sought out was closed, but saw this place nearby. The food was incredibly delicious. High quality ingredients. The olive oil was amazing. The bread was as delicious as I have had. When I entered, I was immediately approached and the "system" explained to me. I got the "Banfi" which was absolutely delicious (with an ingredient called "salicorrnia" which I had never heard of, but was a great herbal topping), with a fresh burrata cheese, walnuts, oil , tomatoes. The ingredients were all very fresh and flavorful. They care about quality. I had two glasses of a very good red wine (with generous pours). The environment is tasteful, modern, and...

This amazing eatery/street food place comes highly recommended and currently holds the number 1 spot on TripAdvisor for Rome and boy oh boy do they deserve it. We were there just before 11:00 when they open and the owner let us in, explained the whole menu and essentially what it's all about. Ordered the Caparezza and it blew me away. Easily the best food I have eaten in a very long time. Vulio proves that what can be perceived as simple can rise far above the most advanced dishes served at high-end restaurants. A beautiful food experience that will be remembered for a long time. Forget the Colloseum, Fontana di Trevi and Piazza di Spagna, this beautiful place is reason enough to visit Rome....
