First gelato place I visited when I was an exchange student in Rome because of my friend’s recommendation. Did not disappoint at all. The price is not far from the average gelato I found in Rome (I usually got the €3 menu here), and it has a great quality of gelato. Don’t forget about the melted chocolate inside the cone (3 available flavors, last I checked. My fav is pistacchio) and the whipped cream on top (2 available flavors I think), they’re included in the price. I always recommended this place to my friends. Normally Sicilians get my vote, especially when it comes to food, but the gelato here is a sore disappointment. Heavy, fatty and without flavor. It's essentially American soft serve in giant, unnecessary portions (which should tell you something about the quality). The pistachio is perhaps the winner, though it's overly sweet and lacking in salt. The cioccolato di modica has really nothing to do with that special Sicilian chocolate, lacking any remnant of the pieces of sugar cane. This place elevates the concept of gelato. Their ice cream is the whole package: the cone is crunchy and flavorful, you can fill it up with one of their three options of melted chocolate (including one with pistachio), and the gelato itself is creamy and simply delicious - you can also opt to have whipped cream and a biscuit on top of you wish. They offer a wide array of flavors for you to choose from (including some cool vegan options).
