I walked into this restaurant today alone and asked for a table for one. I was told that all the tables were reserved, which I completely understand. However, I noticed others walking in after me and getting seated—perhaps they had reservations, which is fair. I askwd it it was reservations only and they said yes, which is also totally understandable. What disappointed me was the lack of basic courtesy. There was no offer to wait or even a kind explanation—just a complete dismissal. It left me feeling very unwelcome. It's small, with displays of their fresh food in the front of the restaurant, and clearly a favorite of the locals; it was packed by the time we left. While we spoke no Italian and the staff didn't speak a lot of English, they were extremely welcoming and with the help of Google Translate we were able to order. Read moreWe’ve come to this place with moderately high expectations based on the reviews and based on the pictures on instagram. We’ve left with our hearts broken and with a ruined evening.. The service was awful and super unfriendly (not sure if it’s only towards the tourists or it might be the fact that we chose the wrong night). The price quality ratio is overall also quite questionable and we had to pay also for the prawns’ tartare, even if it was pretty disgusting and tasteless as the pasta… If you’re a tourist and you want a friendly environment with really tasty food you’ll have to skip this one, there’s still a plenty of good...
