Ichiban Ramen — Restaurant in Rome

The restaurant is really nice inside and offers affordable tasty food. The ramen wasn't the most authentic I've ever tasted, but it was very good and satisfied me. I really liked their matcha tiramisu as it wasn't overly sweet. The dumplings were also very tasty. The ordering system (online) is a bit of a mess and I would prefer to order directly from a person as the restaurant isn't that big and it's nicer that way. I would also appreciated more ramen options to choose from (they had only 3). Still, this place is worth a visit if you're in Rome and craving something other than...

Non conoscevo questo posto, e onestamente stavo andando in un altro visto tempo prima su internet... Ma per fortuna sono arrivato tardi lì, e alle 14.20 mi hanno detto che non era possibile mangiare... Quindi ho provato questo, a pochi passi dal primo, che ha un'insegna anche più simpatica, che ricorda i manga... Con scritto "Ramen & Street Food" mi soffermo sulle foto del Ramen esposto e trovandolo invitante provo ad entrare... Lì il personale mi accoglie con un magnifico sorriso, grntilezza e cortesia, io faccio notare l'ora tarda... Ma senza problemi mi fa accomodare... Quindi ho ordinato il Ramen con la pancetta, che poi è uno di quelli che si vedono nei manga, e nella poca attesa mi scopro in un locale giapponese che sembra essere proprio da uno di quelli visti in Naruto e simili... È stato un piacere per il palato, per gli occhi e l'anima, perché essere accolto quando palesemente il locale era pronto alla chiusura ti lascia una sensazione di benessere indescrivibile... La ciotola (spero si chiami così), bicchiere e porta salsa di soia erano in stile con tutto il locale, non cose anonime dozzinali e bianche, ma raffinate e particolari, le posate erano rigorosamente e piacevolmente bacchette di bambù, ed anche il cucchiaio era di bambù, così bello da sembrare fatto a mano!!! Conto di tornare appena posso, il costo è stato onestissimo, i prodotti freschi e l'aspetto come lo avevo sempre immaginato guardando i vari cartoon giapponesi. E poi mangiare in un locale a tema manga giapponese credo non abbia eguali! Grazie e a presto!

Ps.Anche la tovaglietta era un manga, ma personalizzato con l'interno del locale e a sinistra si nota la piramide di Ostiense!!! Esperienza...

Such an amazing staff! We came in very late one night not realizing they close in ten minutes and they still served us! I felt very bad for it but they insisted we stay and eat. It was so delicious that we came back the very next day for lunch to really sample their Bao Bao and Donburi which was immaculate.
