La Nostra Gelateria — Restaurant in Rome

What an amazing place , a real gem. I love ice creams ,especially Italian ice cream, super silky smooth, so I feel that I'm a good judge of decent ice creams. I ordered a medium cone , with which you can get 3 flavours for €2.50! What a bargain especially with the scoop sizes and the deliciousness of the ice creams :), one hazel nut scoop, and one pistachio , I only opted for two so Moreno made my two chosen flavour scoops larger. He also asked of I wanted cream on top I initially said "no" and he said "I recommend it, tastes even better with cream" so I said " why not " , then he asked if I wanted Nutella on it... To which I added..."yes please" , so he did that, and then added a circular biscuit/wafer thingy into the ice cream (you can see in the pictures) , the end mountain of a I've cream looked stupendous ...and it was soooo tasty, definitely would go back again (if they're open in the morning as it's my last day in Rome :/ ) a d I will definitely recommend to all my friends / family if they visit Rome to go there. In my opinion much better than the ones I tried in city centre Rome , and Moreno went above and beyond was so cheerful, friendly and helpful , he even advised on what flavours shouldn't be mixed ..and he was far different to several of the ice cream vendors in the city centre who literally wanted your money and out the door asap. The staff are what make a company , and Moreno, along with the ice cream are the reason I'd go out of my way to visit this delightful...

This place is a must stop and has the Best Gelato and friendliest stuff in Rome! Moreno and Peter where so entertaining and friendly and they both know there ice cream and make the deserts themselves. The Gelato was so flavorful and these two guys will hook you up with the right flavor for you and let you sample as many as you want. The prices are just right and it’s a must stop in Rome. This gelato shop is amazing! They have many different flavors and the two men who work there provide great customer service. Peter and Moreno are very pleasant and even give you suggestions of different flavors that go well with each other. Both men speak English which was helpful.
