La Punta Expendio de Agave — Restaurant in Rome

What a woundeful place! As soon as you walk in you get to see the huge and impressive bar display. The place specialize in Mezcal and Tequila and got a huge collection from small distillers to the most famous ones. The food was super tasty and we enjoyed it a lot. I would really recommend the taco pollo which got great mole. The food is medium size and can be shared as well. We started with cocktails after consilting with the staff to make sure it is matching the style we usually drink and it was amazing!! Make sure to try the place cocktails menu and not only classics. The bar itself is super impressive with it choice, I spoke with the mixologist which gave me a full detailed explaination about the mezcal world and I tasted few neats special ones which cant be found anywhere in the world. So, if you are a mezcal and tequila lover dont be shy and ask the staff to get introduced to new distillers and brands. For last, the staff was very proffessional and friendly. They knew all ingridients, cocktails and has great knowledge in the mezcal and tequila area. In my comparison, prices was very decent to what I am used to but of course it can change depend on where you live. If you are a cocktail, mezcal / tequila lover or just want to hang out in an awesome...

One star only because of the drinks. Drinks were very good but food... Let's start with burrito: it's not a burrito in anyway, wrap yes, tasty wrap yes but not a burrito. Chicken taco: blend, lack of flavour, lack of mexician soul, total disaster. Quesadilla: looking like taco.... Blend like taco and disaster like taco. Yes I did eat all, after long hours of walking around the city I needed to eat. I did pay full price but in my opinion portion size are way too small to be a Mexican style food (especially buritto). Waiter asked me about my experience, I tryed to be polite and only said about my good experience with drinks and taste of "buritto", but he pushed me, so I told him about all... He was not happy with my opinion and asked me: "how can you say something like that'... Yes I can express my opinion as a customer who is in fact a chef, and was able to travel to Mexico, tasted proper Mexican food there plus tried plenty of Mexician food around a world... His response was even better then before: 'you know, we were to Mexico too'... Good for you mate but not sure which part. If you really tried Mexican food, you would not call what you serve a...

The cocktails were really flavourful but we're overshadowed by the strange behaviour. They suddenly brought us a document to sign and leave our contact details which was in Italian(we are not Italian speakers) and the only thing we could tell from it was that it was something about Covid-19. I asked the table sitting next to us to translate it since the waiter did not translate it just told us to sign it. They told us it was in case there was Covid case to contact us. I asked whether they were asked to do the same and they said it was the first time they show this in a bar or restaurant even though it seemed legit. I was familiar with the Covid regulations in the EU or at least thought so, so I prompted also my companion not sign it. While we were having the discussion with the neighbouring table the waiter was looking at us and came to retrieve the document he saw that it was not signed and did not comment further. It was strange because he made seem as if it was mandatory and even though he knew we did not speak English he did not explain what...
