Luffy — Restaurant in Rome

Delusione totale… Ero contentissimo di aver prenotato un tavolo per 2 in questo ristorante e non vedevo l’ora di immergermi nel mondo di One piece, appena entrati l’effetto che da questo posto è molto positivo soprattutto se si è fan come me di questo anime/manga, locale non troppo grande con due stanze pieni di quadri e carta da parati a tema, dall’euforia iniziale siamo stati, quasi subito catapultati in buco nero senza fine… da che ci siamo seduti a ordinare le bevande sono passati circa 20 min e “solo” dopo altri 20 ci hanno portato acqua e vino… per ordinare il cibo, ancora usano carta e penna, ti danno un blocchettino e tramite il menù cartaceo scrivi quello che vuoi prendere, per poi darlo ad un cameriere se ne trovi uno in giro! capisco che la ciurma di capello di paglia sia nell’era della pirateria ma un tablet no? Comunque solo alcuni dei piatti ordinati sono arrivati dopo oltre 1 ora e 15 min praticamente avevamo quasi finito tutta la bottiglia di vino! Dopo continui solleciti é arrivato qualche altro piatto ma di quello ordinato nemmeno la metà ci è arrivato! Con il tanto tempo di attesa senza mangiare ci siamo messi ad osservare meglio l’arredo che in fin dei conti non è niente di che, si qualche quadro qua e là ma la carta da parati é rovinata in alcuni punti e rattoppata in altri… ma la chicca è la musica di sottofondo che si sente, se pensate di sentire tutte le traccie della ciurma più famosa del mondo vi sbagliate di grosso…perché sentirete bachata e reggaeton! 🤦🏻‍♂️ aggiungo anche che ho chiesto la salsa di soia senza sale e mi hanno risposto che non c’era, sul cibo che dire siamo nella media degli all you can eat anche se non possiamo essere totalmente sicuri visto quel poco che abbiamo mangiato! A mezzanotte abbiamo deciso di alzarci nonostante avevamo ordinato un sacco di roba ma che dopo 2 ore e mezza seduti non è mai arrivata! Al conto totale 76 con le scuse imbarazzanti della presunta titolare ci hanno fatto lo sconto a 70, ma se tornassi indietro pagherei solo da bere! A...

I just reviewed Jixx Sushi, somewhere near Luffy, and I would say that Luffy is out of this world in this comparison. Unfortunately, in this neighborhood with many restaurants, as it is a student area so a lot of people eat out, just rearly one can find a place where can properly eat. Luffy is one of the beautiful exeptions, that also confirms the rule. Loved this sushi restaurant as it had a nice anime theme, the service was nice and attentive and the sushi was always coming out in good time for the next dish.

Many great food options and you just write down the number of the item and hand to server. (We did all you can eat sushi) I enjoyed they had placemats and would prefer something besides wooden cheap chopsticks for a major improvement.

Restaurant was small inside and slow so the service had a tendency to just watch you eat but there was good American music.

Outside seating was a little underwhelming but still...
