Maki Contemporary Sushi — Restaurant in Rome

Did all you can eat sushi but it was a strange experience with having to order everything even water from a screen at the table when you sit down. Like a Togo experience but you eat it at the restaurant. No personal service connection.

The tuna was good with skin still on it and the only other option was salmon on just about every dish. Some of the dishes like seaweed salad and edamame were the size of my palm, very small. B

The ginger salmon was probably the best.

Restaurant looks closed from the outside bc the don’t set up the outside area and the inside is usually empty.

Needs more of a connection, and definitely faster service on getting the first water out to the table in my opinion. Also it’d be nice for someone to clean the table if dirty when...

Il cibo era molto buono, il servizio istantaneo e comunque svolto da personale molto gentile (in alcuni casi anche molto simpatico), abbiamo mangiato in una sala riservata con tanto di tavolo girevole, TV per il karaoke (o altri usi) e sedie molto comode.

Purtroppo ci sono state comunque alcune cose che non hanno arricchito l'esperienza, e potrebbero essere un motivo di disincentivo:

Il parcheggio e la zona, non sognatevi di venire con un'auto a meno che non trovate un garage... In molti hanno cercato parcheggio per 20-30 minuti, me compreso, alle 8 di sera

La sala riservata con karaoke aveva un costo a parte, sicuramente comprensibile vista la zona e il servizio offerto, ma proprio perché doveva avere la peculiarità del karaoke, mi aspettavo una cura un po' più elaborata. I microfoni erano praticamente scarichi, a tratti spenti del tutto, dopo poco il nostro arrivo, e nonostante avessimo chiesto di averne degli altri, ci hanno suggerito di lasciarli "in carica" sullo speaker, ma non si sono caricati affatto... Non abbiamo potuto cantare come avremmo voluto

Detto ciò, il prezzo che abbiamo pagato alla fine era il giusto, ripeto, per dover includere sia la sala, che il cibo no stop, che la zona. Però per come sono fatto io, per via dell'assenza di parcheggio e dell'esperienza con i microfoni, non ci tornerei una seconda volta. Lascio però 4 stelle su 5 perché il cibo era buonissimo (oltre che variegato, c'era anche il Kimchi coreano) ed il servizio (rapidissimo una volta ordinato). Inoltre sono stati tutti gentilissimi ed anche in fase di pagamento il personale è stato davvero pronto e rapido nel gestire quasi 20 persone che hanno dovuto pagare con carta.

Credo uno dei migliori ristoranti di cibo orientale (a livello di qualità e gusto) in cui...

This was such a wonderful surprise for us. Prices are very decent considering the quality of the food. Not only they serve a variety of sushi and sashimi dishes, but there is also an extensive selection of hot dishes, from appetizers to main entrees. We ate a lot and left completely satisfied. Service was incredibly efficient and everything that we ordered through the tablet would show up after a couple of minutes on our table. I did not have "sushi" in mind when visiting Rome but this is a place that I would definitely visit again...
