We had a very strange experience here. It was empty at lunchtime, we are the only people being served, and we ordered "vegetariano misto" (veggie mix) just to be served something that was clearly beef. Not sure how the miscommunication happened, because we pointed at the menu and very clearly confirmed "vegetariano." So we then waited again to get the right meal and heard the microwave ding a few times in the kitchen. It tasted okay, we've had much better everywhere else. When we went in there was only one other couple dining and it took some time to get the attention of the waiter who was also the chef and the dish washer! In a mixture of Italian, English and pointing we ordered a vegetarian platter for me (a variety of traditional Eritrean chickpea, lentil and other veg dishes) and a beef Spriss (spicy beef stew) for my husband. It came on a bed of delicious injera (fermented flat bread) served on a huge...
