Old Wild West - Ostia Lido — Restaurant in Rome

My review is based on eating burgers and fries. Starting with the good, the fries and the old wild west sauce are delicious, I could be eating that all day every day, 5 stars for the fries. The burgers, which we had 2 different kinds, weren't good, it was a chore eating them; the meat in the burgers, which they brag about coming from Ireland, was probably boiled in water as it tasted like boiled meat. Not good. When burger King and McDonald's have better tasting burgers, you know you have a problem. I'm the going to be a little picky here... the restaurant, which is nice and has a great "Texas" atmosphere, serves cold sodas on a glass "European style", meaning no ice and no straws. Not really the Texas experience they're trying to sell but I guess then again you don't pay tips either,...

Last day in Ostia and finally some gooood food. Employees are very friendly, polite. They speak very good English. Service is fast. We didn’t wait too long for any of our orders. Seating outside is recommended, inside is little bit hot. Only outside street sellers trying to sell you rose’s but they are not so annoying. And while seating outside you can admire of Italian driving “skills” haha

Food was delicious. Nothing to add. Just evrything as expected. Bear selection is great too.

Just perfect place for American...

We had 2 times a late lunch here. There was no crowd, we got table immediately. The place has a wild west theme (hence the name), and the available dishes reflect this also. Steak was delicious, chicken burger a little bit overcooked. Beer was cold, it felt good in the warm weather. Dessert was big and delicious. Service is nice.
