Found this little gem by accident while walking aimlessly from our room at Hotel Cicerone which is several blocks south, on my first trip to Italy in 2006. We did return again in 2007 and had pizza again!!
ATMOSPHERE: Small & cramped interior, I don't think there was any seating inside. The display case takes up the entire width of the space and the pizzas all look fabulous!
FOOD: Pizza Its been 7 years since I was there, but according to my pic, I had a mushroom & ham slice. The slice is huge, probably around 4"x6". Crust is thin, crunchy and chewy which is what I love. Tons of flavor, I remember. And hey, you're in ITALY. Everything Italian tastes better in the motherland!
SERVICE: The ladies were very friendly and explained the different types of pizza available.

Read moreIn rainy Oct, I came across Pizzeria colonna by chance. It was an awesome find. The service staff, a young gentleman i believe called Sammella, was v nice, kind, and v helpful.
He suggested what is good to try. V kindly offered me a pizza board when I m dining in. He asked if I like beans n rice, and v nicely offered me a sample suppli too. Felt loved and warm in rainy Oct! Vegetarian options are awesome too.
Ps ask to warm up the pizza slices and a pizza board...
