Overall, it is a lovely restaurant, with true home cooked food that reminds me of how the Italian immigrants of the 1950’s would cook. The reason I have given four stars, not five as I usually do, is because of the portion sizes versus the price you pay, but also the owner/manager. He did not do anything wrong, but his demeanor was pretty low and borderline off putting. His wife/partner and the young waitress were lovely, and the food itself was delicious which is why I didn’t give this review three stars. There is also the convenience of being able to book as opposed to most places. Definitely not a tourist trap with locals coming, but just note the prices/portion sizes.

Food was okay. I got a dish of Fettucine al ragù which is just like any kinda pasta dish I can get in a small US town, nothing special. The fish was nice though but that’s basically where all the good stops. The staffs were completely indifferent to tourists, while they were nice and smiling to locals. They didn’t bother to talk, just come up, put down the plates or collect empty plates and left. No one was even greeting me when I arrived & left. Would not recommend to any tourists.

Absolutely loved everything we tried. The carbonara and cacio e pepe were exceptionally good. For the oxtail stew and saltimbocca, each was cooked in their own delicious sauce full of flavors. Glad we had saved some bread to dip in the sauce. The desserts we tried, like everything else, were fantastic, though I think the panna cotta covered in caramel was the winner. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, and assisted us in English. I definitely recommend eating here!

Without question the most uninviting and unwelcoming staff I've come across so far in Italy. From the moment we walked into this restaurant we got a rather cold greeting. I'd specifically found this spot on Google Maps and had high hopes after reading a few positive reviews and a high rating. Over the next few courses, it turned an excited couple ready to enjoy Roman cuisine into a rather awkward experience where both of us felt completely shunned by the staff onto a small table in the corner of the room. The food wasn't bad but the hour or so spent was the most unpleasant of my trip so far. We were given a different menu to every single other couple in the restaurant (a tourist menu?) and weren't offered bread with our meal like every other table. It was the first restaurant I've felt genuinely like an outsider in. I couldn't wait to get the bill and go. Luckily south of the restaurant is a brilliant gelato place with very friendly and vibrant staff who boosted our mood instantly making us feel...

This is a truly special place. It's a genuine, family-run Roman kitchen that feels just like coming home. We've been here twice, and each time, the food was absolutely outstanding—you can taste the authenticity of true Roman cuisine in every bite. But what truly sets this place apart is the incredible service. The staff's kindness and warmth were a highlight on our first visit, especially with our family. On our second visit, they went above and beyond. Noticing we were Portuguese, they were so thoughtful that they called a neighbor who spoke our language just to make us feel even more welcome. This level of hospitality and genuine care is truly impressive. We highly recommend this restaurant for a fantastic meal and a genuinely heartwarming, family-friendly...

We visited the place as it was close to our accommodation and we were too tired after the day to walk far for dinner. I honestly advise to avoid the place!!!!!! At any cost!!!! Service is very rude. Unimaginable! Already by entering the place you feel so not welcome, the waiter was not happy to have the customers. At least we expected to eat some local nice Italian food, like mentioned in the reviews. But pasta was really not tasty, definitely not homemade, which I thought in Rome is almost impossible, definitely the worst past we had during our past 5 days in Rome. We had luckily enough wine to drink that helped us forget about the visit here and afterwards left as soon as possible. So much NOT recommended!!!!!! There are many nice places in Rome, just definitely not...
