We found the restaurant as it was close to our airbnb. We needed to pass some time before checking in and stumbled upon this restaurant that just opened (the owners/staff mentioned they opened today but perhaps I misunderstood as I don’t speak much Italian). Language was not a barrier though because the gentlemen that took care of us really worked to help us out in the heat and made us menu items for lunch which I believe are not typically meant to be available or perhaps were not planned to be available yet. We had a delicious lunch of pizza and pasta. They even served us a treat for dessert - gelato with Nutella. The kind gesture and hospitality really made us feel welcomed to the city of Rome. We are a group of 8 family members on holiday and our baby was sick during all of this so the kindness was really extra special. The staff was very polite 12/10, food absolutely amazing 12/10, atmosphere was brilliant with the locals watching football AS Roma and all the families cheering and celebrating goals. The waitress tried her absolute best to speak English and welcome us in the warmest way. All in all? The high streets are full of low quality places and tourist traps so it was the best decision to look up and go to a local pizzeria...
Read moreI'm sure i've already posted a review but it seems to be missing. One of the highlights of my week in Rome was finding this wonderful restaurant. I ate here 3 times including on New Year's Eve. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, they even found a table for me at the last minute on New Year's Eve which was so lovely. The food is fantastic, the tiramisu in particular was out of this world and the prices were great. If I could give them more than 5 star rating I would....
