We are a couple in our late sixtees. For a starter we ordered crispy porccini mushrums with truffles. It came and the waiter explained how to eat it. The inside was almost frozen. It was replaced and this time it came with a sauce and it was very nice, but no serious appology. Next we ordered shredded lobster meat with tomatos celery and onion in a nice sauce which was good, and pasta Carbonara. The was loaded with melted pecorini cheese and parmigiaino and ham. The propotion were not right and it was too salty. I eat my share but my wife could not eat it. No one came to ask if we like the dishes and when we complained about the pasta stating the I will still pay fot it since we eat half, no appology was made as if we had never eaten Carbonara elseware. Well we were left with a bad taste. Durig the bill payment, cookies were offred but we left the restaurant with a bad salty taste and feeling. Read moreI had high hopes based upon how the restaurant looked. We sat outside for dinner.
Pizzas and steak were okay. Pasta was not made fresh and sauces were average. My wife had a burger which she enjoyed. I’d rate the food a 3/5.
The street is busier than it appears. It’s loud with frequent cars and a fan blowing from a building across the street. I’d recommend sitting inside next time.
Our server seemed attentive - but service was spotty. Ie waiting long periods for drinks or dishes even when the restaurant raw generally slow. When presenting the bill he said arrive was included and suggested a 20% tip - which definitely isn’t the norm in Italy.
I honestly wouldn’t come back. Sorta a...
Read moreDelicious food. From pasta, to pizza, to meat and burgers. We both ate the pasta. I had the Burratini and they were really good. As an italian I definitely recommand it. The portion was small (they serve it as a "primo piatto". So in Italy you're supposed to get a "secondo" afterwards.) and cost 12€. But they are 100% worth it. If you are not a big eater, you might aswell have enough with that one portion. I went for the focaccia afterwards an wasn't disapointed. The dow was very good. A real wood fire pizza. Friendly staff. Waitress was very kind and polite. Cosy ambience with chill out music in...
