A true Roman gem — a must-try experience! Today I had one of the most memorable meals in Rome. I found this cozy, authentic spot serving traditional Roman cuisine, and it completely stole my heart. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with lovely local Italians all around, enjoying good food and conversation. I started with the antipasti “tris Romano” — a delicious trio that gave me a real taste of Roman flavors. Then came the star: rigatoni with guanciale and carciofi. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the guanciale rich and savory, and the artichokes added such a unique Roman touch. Every bite felt like a celebration of tradition and simplicity done right.
If you’re in Rome and want a true local food experience, this place is a must. Honest, soulful food and beautiful people — I can’t...
Read moreOne of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. Pretty sure half of the staff was on drugs. Had to ask 3 people to take our order, all of which said they couldn’t, offering no help in getting a server. Carbonara was the saltiest meal I’ve ever tasted at a restaurant. Service was overall, completely appalling. So bad it was hilarious. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Bad vibes, bad food, bad service. Management seems in complete disarray. Tweaking. Go elsewhere. Also, the wine was foamy & foggy. No good. I don’t write reviews ever. This was so bad that I simply had to. My girlfriends tongue is practically fried off from the amount of salt in...
Read moreI am so disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. For a restaurant with over 2,000 reviews and 4.3 stars, I'm shocked. I ordered suppli and a pasta for lunch. The suppli came out with a rock hard ball of cold mozzarella in the middle. The pasta also came out cold, extremely undercooked, and the wrong type of noodle. If they didn't have the pasta type available, it is so easy to let me know instead of bringing out an entirely different dish. The pasta was so hard it could have literally used 5 more minutes in boiling water. Waited 15 minutes for the check too, and the total price was 17 euros. Ridiculous. This place should not...
