Rosso Pizza — Restaurant in Rome

Spettacolo. I will write in English because they deserve to be an international attraction. I came here for the first time, sit and ordered 1 type of pizza and 3 supplì. Eating that, the smile on my face went side to side. I turn and order 2 more types of pizza, later another, and yet a fifth type with an additional supplì (just because supplì kept finishing every time they brought them out).

Both pizza and supplì are so good they are addictive. I was dragged out of the shop by forcemayor, or else I might have ended up renting my stool and the cook for the overnight.

Their secrets? Based on my palate: some of the best ingredients on the market for the pizza toppings and the supplì filling. Accompanied by masterclass preparation with: a fluffy yet crunchy and tasty pizza dough (I liked so much I asked for corner portions, which I never do), and a thin yet crunchy and flavorful supplì breading, with perfectly al dente supplì...

This is a small local neighborhood joint run by a charming, upbeat team that takes pride in their cuisine! I’ve been in Italy for three weeks now and have eaten pizza at numerous outstanding places in Rome, Caserta, Naples, including the two Nbr 1 ranked pizza places in the world. At the end of each experience, I think how much I miss this local place, its truffle pizza, their pizza crust in all their pizzas and outstanding, innovative burgers. On a trip to Rome, I was wandering the streets of Flaminio searching for pizza. I came across Rosso and had a wonderful experience. The man who I believe may have been the owner was a delight: he was warm, friendly and made the process of ordering very easy. The pizza was sublime!
