Could not be less impressed and more appalled at the service and ethics of this restaurant. Upon arrival, we inquired about take out, and once this request was approved, we waited at the bar in the meantime. When ordering our food, the server suggested the gnocchi (supposed to have a pumpkin flavor), and said that it was an incredible dish of the restaurant. With that in mind, I decided on the gnocchi, as this is typically one of my favorite dishes. An hour later and having had to ask the server about the status of our meal to which he replied “two more minutes,” our food was still not ready (there were literally three other tables sat the entire time we were there). After he entered the kitchen, it became very clear that the kitchen had not yet started on our order, as we then proceeded to wait and watch him stand idly in the kitchen for 15 more minutes as they began our order. Once it finally DID come out, he enclosed the box on all sides, placed it into a bag, and handed that to me, so I would not look into the box. Momentarily happy to have finally just received our food after an exorbitant wait time when trying to place a simple “to-go order” for one entree of a traditional pasta dish, we opened up the pasta. I cannot express the anger and shock that I felt. There were TWENTY NOODLES. Count them yourself. Keep in mind that we ordered two lemon-cellos and two sparkling waters at the bar while waiting for our food and this pasta (listed on the menu as €18). That’s all that we ordered. Our bill came out to €44.00. €44.00 to wait an hour and half for 20 noodles that, by the way, had no trace of pumpkin, but instead, tasted like buttered noodles. Save your money. This place is a scam. What an absolute joke. By the way, there were three tables dining when we got there, and the same three tables still seated when we left. We feel very taken advantage of and patronized, as these servers flashed big smiles and happily handed us our food and swiped our card, knowing damn well they had actually served next to nothing for the amount of time that we waited and for the price point, too, which we wouldn’t have minded paying if the food was actually half decent in quality and portion size. Incredibly disappointing. If I could leave less than one...
Read moreThe restaurant is really nice, to bad when we walk in the restaurant was completely empty and we had to cross a completely empty 2 floor restaurant before to reach our table, which felt a bit awkward, around us there was only other 3/4 table, if was more busy he would have been a completely different atmosphere. The food was really good and all very well presented, only the eggplant croquette was not nice at all didn’t even taste like eggplant and was only a ball of bread, very very dry. The steak we had was really good too and very well cooked, not so common to find meat cooked properly like this in Italy I have to say. They had wagyu on the menu both Japanese and Australian but none of them was available that night. Great cocktails, we had 2 of them very similar in flavours between them, but both nice. Will come back definitely hopefully will be a 5...
Read moreAVOID!!!!DO NOT EAT HERE TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. We have been to many restaurants all over the world. Never have I been to a steakhouse that serves so much FAT as part of a steak costing 200 Euro!! This place considers itself a high end steakhouse. They should be embarrassed to serve the meat they do and charge for it. We arrived at 8pm and dinner did not finish until 11pm. They were not busy but extremely slow. After complaining to the manager that the risotto was extremely undercooked and that HALF the steak was fat we were told "I'm sorry" I was sorry too! But no credit or courtesy was given. We almost walked out before eating any of the steak but after 2 1/2 hours we were just hungry. Look at the picture…look at how much fat we paid for. ANY RESTAURANT you choose in Rome would be a better choice....
