This was quite literally the best meal we’ve had in Italy. About a 20 minute walk from Trastevere, you will find the best restaurant. Great atmosphere, service, and food. You’re in luck if you come in on the night Mayson is working. He is attentive and gives honest recommendations. For appetizers, he suggested we try the prosciutto (which they cut to order), sausage bruschetta, and the Shiraz wine to pair. Perfect combo. The really cool part about this place is that you get to order your meat directly from the chef. He can point you in the right direction for the cut you are looking for. We went with the Danese Entrecôte and Croatia Lombo. 10/10 cooked to perfection. The manager was welcoming and gave us a table right away. Take a break from all the tourist traps in Trastevere. You will not be disappointed. It was so good we had to make a reservation for the next evening. Bonus points if you order the buffalo mozzarella.

We wanted to eat something other than pasta and found this meat restaurant in Trastevere, and it was really good!! It's been a long time since I ate such a good steak. Me and my husband are very picky but we were pleasantly surprised! Totally worth a visit if you like a good steak and the staff was so nice! 👍🏻 😊

Graditi l'impegno, la cortesia dei camerieri e lo sconto, ma, sinceramente, troppa la spesa sostenuta a fronte della scarsa qualità della bistecca irlandese che è stata, a questo punto, strapagata. Unica esperienza.

We wanted to eat something other than pasta and found this meat restaurant in Trastevere, and it was really good!! It's been a long time since I ate such a good steak. Superior steakhouse. Very warm and heartfelt welcome, attentive service, and enthusiastic advice on the wide international selection of cuts of meat. Industrial but simple decor, inside medieval walls. All details impressive: puntarelle super fresh and well-dressed (best my wife has had after years in Rome); good olives upon arrival; gorgeous sformatino di patate; even the fries were very well done and nicely presented. Modest but well-chosen wine list...bottles very reasonably priced. We chose the Prussian Florentine steak, which was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented on a hot stone plate. High quality meat, cooked on a wood fire, is never cheap, but the price was reasonable considering the quality and care. A really excellent experience.... For a special meal, or even just a quality burger, this place is worth...

Pur avendo approfittato di un The Fork, non necessariamente la qualità deve essere scadente. Cosa non funziona? La proprietaria con una sigaretta in bocca all'ingresso del locale che non ci ha neppure aperto ed acvompagnato all'interno..il locale, un vecchio magazzino/officina dell'area ex portuale...difficile adibito a ristorante dato la totale assenza di elementi che possano assorbire il suono..il risultato un frastuono assordante ad alcuna possibilità di ascoltare il commensale che ti sedeva appena al fianco. La cameriera che frettolosamente ti sciorina lo scarnissimo menú ( ho del prosciuttino e una focaccia per antipasto.)manco in fraschetta. . senza che si riesca a sentirla....e finalmente la carne che ti fai a scegliere al banco....come usa in BEN ALTRI locali bistecchiera alla brace.. carne discreto/buona..ma....cottura? Preferisco media, grazie. Solo che al tavolo arriva, insieme alle altre bistecche appena passata sulla brace, lo spessore 1 cm era cotto letteralmente appoggiato di qua e di la sul fuoco. Cosa me lo hai chiesto a fare come la voglio, se la chiedo media e me la porti cruda...So cosa state pensando: beh gliela potevi ridare così finivano di cuocerla. Capisco. Peccato che per farlo non avrei mangiato con i miei amici che avevano le loro bistecche, peraltro in simili condizioni. .senza contare che la cottura corretta richiede tempo che è proprio quello che non ti puoi permettere se vuoi fare " cassa" E qui torniamo alla ristorazione. Non ci si improvvisa ristoratori se non hai intenzione di curare almeno le basi e se il tuo scopo è il conteggio della serata con un prosciuttino e un pezzo di carne cruda.
