⭐☆☆☆☆ A tourist trap — avoid at all costs!

We ordered three set menus clearly displayed outside the restaurant:

1 x 4-cheese pizza with Coke

1 x carbonara pasta with Coke

1 x bolognese pasta with still water

All of these were listed under the menu deal on the board (we even took a photo!). However, when it came time to pay, the lady at the counter — who I believe is the owner — rang everything up à la carte to charge us more. It was outrageous!

When we politely pointed out the prices posted outside, she aggressively claimed that the set menu only applied to Margherita pizzas and plain tomato sauce pasta, even though the sign clearly included carbonara and bolognese.

On top of that, she added €2 for old, rock-hard bread we never asked for — you could break a tooth on it 🤢.

The server even tried to defend us and explain that we had ordered from the menu, but she told him to “get out”. Totally unacceptable.

This is nothing short of a scam — pricing seems to change based on whether you're a tourist or not. Save yourself the trouble and eat elsewhere. There are honest restaurants in Sorrento — this is NOT...

I have never experienced worse service in my entire life. Absolutely disgusting behavior which ended in them yelling names at us down the street.

We ordered 2 takeaway pastas and happily waited outside. As we went to pay he accidentally charged me 16.50 instead of 17.50. He made a mistake and then was yelling at us to give him a euro coin. We explained that we were leaving in the morning and had no coins and he accused us of lying. I even had to open my purse to show him.

I said I didn't mind and he should just charge my card the extra euro. He then threw my card back at me shaking his head yelling.

After telling him that his behavior was awful, even being watched by a lady who I assume was the owner who did nothing, I said I would leave a bad review and he yelled abuse down the street at me and my friend.

To top it of the pasta was oily, salty and absolutely disgusting which happened to match his customer service skills.

Will NEVER recommend...

Horrible is the word to describe this place. I wish we had seen the reviews and the rude replies on reviews from restaurant before going to this really bad restaurant.

First, the waitress took wrong pasta order. Instead of agreeing to her mistake, she suggested I order a new pasta without mentioning that it wasn’t a replacement for taking my wrong order. It took them forever to make the second pasta and it was not at all good in taste. Finally, when the bill arrived they charged me for both the pastas. Manager was really rude, who refused to admit the mistake and made us pay for both the pastas.

Please refrain from going there, food is below average, staff is unprofessional, manager is extremely rude. They ruined my afternoon.
